Staff were absolutely lovely, and food was perfection. Very nice cosy atmosphere. Also did a birthday cheesecake which was beautiful.

The food was delicious. I’ve eaten here a few times before and it’s always been tasty. We all had roasts but I think I won with the lamb shank - it was huge! When we ordered drinks, I asked for a pint of Diet Coke and the waitress said they only had one size, ok fine. Then I heard another table ask for a pint of Coke and a different waitress said they’ve only got one size Coke but can do pints of Pepsi max on draft - I would’ve changed to that if I’d have been offered. The first waitress who sat us also didn’t ask for allergens, it was just the manager who realised I’d put coeliac on the booking who brought over the allergen list. Very coeliac-friendly though.
