Best Sushi Restaurants in Kensington

First of all, I’d like to give special praise to the female front-of-house manager. She was everything you could hope for in a restaurant manager—warm, welcoming, and enthusiastic about introducing the dishes. She even recommended some lovely cafés nearby. She made our whole dining experience a pleasure and kept an eye on the time for us, knowing we had a flight to catch. What also impressed me was the care put into the little details. The edamame wasn’t simply boiled, as it is at so many other restaurants, and you could taste that the miso soup wasn’t just an instant mix. These small touches are often overlooked these days, but when a restaurant takes such care with them, it gives you confidence in the rest of the menu—and the food certainly lived up to that expectation. Everything was delicious, and we’ll definitely be back!

Highly recommend going during happy hour, 4-6, when we went the other day. Originally, we booked for 6, but we arrived just after 5:30 pm, and they were happy to seat us and offer happy hour drinks and deals! The sashimi was fantastic, and the yuzu cocktail was great, as were the skewers! Would come back. Just a note: all seating seems to be stools, so if that isn't accessible for you, maybe check if they have other seating.

My friends and I eat here often. They have a good range of vegetarian options. The staff are very helpful. The food is fresh and well priced. The atmosphere can be a bit lively with families. But this adds to the restaurant s ambience. The tables are spread out well adding to your sense of privacy.
