Best Tapas Restaurants in Kensington

We had a fabulous experience. The waiters were very attentive and helped us with choosing tapas as this was my first time at a Spanish restaurant. The tapas were shareable for about 2 to 3 people a plate and there were many options. Squid ink risotto, ham and cheese fritters, gambas, pan con tomate were our favorites. While the tapas were amazing, dessert really was the shining star of the meal. Great ambiance and feels like I’m in a family run restaurant in Spain. We will be returning.

All 5 of us loved our evening at Guardado's Sat night. Busy and lively with our reservation honored; the food was outstanding. We tried so many starters and then savored our Seafood Paella which we loved. The pitchers of Sangria had fresh fruit and were also fabulous. This is a community treasure with easy parking, warm and efficient staff and caring owners. We will return over and over to this gem. family owned and run is a bonus for us!

We were running late due to traffic and messaged the place via open table. Manager Reka replied with “no problem”. Place was packed when we arrived. They couldn’t find our reservation at first, Reka came by and informed us that there was a system error and apologized for the wait and took care the seating quickly. It was our first time there, great vibe, beautiful restaurant. We informed the server we in a rush because Katseye concert is about to start, she took our order quickly and may I just say every dish we tried were delicious. Reka came by again to check on us and even gave us complimentary dessert which was amazing. Delicious food, wonderful service by manager Reka, we will definitely be back! And we made it to concert on time!

Rally fantastic food and service! And very reasonable prices. Was a great dinner out before a movie outing. Hope to come again soon!
