One of my top wine bars in London! We had a fantastic evening at Lady of the Grape’s cosy downstairs wine bar, Forbidden Fruit. The atmosphere was perfect, and Laura, Barney and Xavier went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Their knowledge of the wine list was exceptional. They described every wine so thoughtfully and explained which dishes would pair well with our choices. The food complemented the wine styles perfectly, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. It’s wonderful to find a wine bar showcasing wines made by female winemakers, with such a knowledgeable and enthusiastic team bringing them to life. Thank you for a memorable evening. I’m already looking forward to coming back and exploring more of the list. See you soon!

This is the second time I’ve visited this particular branch. The staff greeted us very warmly. The food was delicious. I always enjoy the steak frites. Staff were attentive and friendly throughout our meal. It is the perfect stop for a pre theatre meal. The Cote chain is one of my favourites.
