Best Wineries in Novato

From the moment we walked in the door Chef Oscar creations stimulated our nose. Then the first three courses were served. A beautiful visual, artful presentation with incredible flavors dancing in our mouths, well balanced. The wine pairing were perfectly on point. Next four courses were just as good as the first three. We never walk out of here unsatisfied. A wonderful experience. Thank you everybody.

We just did wine tasting, no food. Had 3 chocolates which were tasty

We used Open Table to book a vinyard tour and tasting, which is given in the morning. Loxton Cellars is a small estate winery, where the focus is on the wine. The tour was given by Chris Loxton himself, who is personable and very thorough. The vinyard grows several varietals, and I learned a lot. It is also in a pretty spot. Chris got pulled away when we were going in for the tasting, which was conducted by his assistant, who was also very knowlegable and a joy to visit with. And their wines are excellent. We bought quite a bit! The winery and tasting room are no nonsense, which I like. We spent almost three hours, and did not eat, as there is no food, just wine, conversation, and good vibes.
