Very busy and a bit chaotic, barely could get through the revolving doors as so many people were waiting for tables. Not a very pleasant experience but food was good as always. Just wish it was a little better organized.

DelFrisco's was enjoyed by all during my reservation. I enjoyed the Salmon dish with a side of asparagus & brussell sprouts. My cousin and his fiancée enjoyed steaks with different side dishes and enjoyed the lemon cake. The bar had a vibrant crowd and every table at DelFrisco's was occupied. The eatery is located on 6th Avenue by 48-49th street in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. It is a great place to plan on eating at if you are in NYC. Make sure you plan and make a reservation.

A couple of buddies and myself hit this up for dinner while in Manhattan on business. The building is awesome. Out waiter, John, was top notch and spot on. The food was outstanding. Great bone in ribeye. The bacon appetizer we got was out of this world. Also had the crab cake, mac and cheese, mushrooms. Top the steak with crab! Can't wait to go back.

Good and service was great. Had the ribeye steak and it was perfectly seasoned and cooked. Ordered special grilled broccoli rabe but the vegetable was not tender and/or overcooked; however they were nice enough to bring another order which was better but I think it was the quality of the vegetable, not the cooking. And, they still comped the vegetable. One thing peculiar was that utensils and bread plate were not clean but they graciously brought replacements. Otherwise, still a great meal!

The crab cake, ribeye steaks and spinach that we ordered were all delicious. What made our dinner memorable was the incredible service we received from our waitress Kathleen. She was attentive and made us feel very special from the moment we were seated. I was celebrating my birthday and was treated to a piece of their famous lemon cake - it was outstanding!! I recommend Del Frisco's without hesitation.

I eat in steak houses often, and I was frankly quite disappointed with this experience( it was my first time at Del Frisco). I ordered the steak salad for lunch, and it consisted of a small quantity of frisée ( hard to eat and somewhat unsatisfying in the salad department) and an overload of very pungent blue cheese sprinkled everywhere. It overwhelmed even the steak, which was good quality meat but barely seared on the outside. The bread ( which I don't eat, but I like to look) was an unexciting white loaf with sesame seeds- I'm accustomed to seeing a great breadbasket at a steak house, and this was not one of the winners. I ordered asparagus, and they were overcooked and smaller than what one normally encounters in a steak house. We ordered bread pudding for dessert, and it was fabulous- light, not too sweet, and really delicious. The specials offered for the day seemed overly complex( three pieces of filet with three sauces, one of which was a lobster and butter sauce- does that make sense? I'm hoping I misheard the waitress); steak houses should be consistently simple yet high quality, not making an effort to be culinarily clever. I would give them another try, but it would not be my first choice.

It was pouring rain out and the girls that checked me in didn't ask to check my umbrella or coat - no biggie. My Chicken Caesar salad was drenched in dressing. There were about three small strips of chicken, all fatty, with the skin still attached. I barely touched my meal. My lunch guest ordered the same thing and his salad had considerably less dressing. The whole upstairs was empty with the exception of one other table. We were sat directly next to those patrons. I was surprised. I expected much more from Del Frisco's. The service was good, however.

Good steak and sides. Wine quite expensive (several times the value of the bottle). Bad bad service for the price of the food. Servers not listening to clients, mumbled specials, disregarded requests, drinks took a long time to get to the table, never refilled water glasses even after asking twice, serving food haphazardly on the table (almost hit my mon with the hot plate). I would not recommend this restaurant.

Wine list was ridiculously expensive--no red under $70. Steak was ok but we were charged $4 for each one small sauce to put on the steak which cost $45 for a petite filet. Waitress told us cost for sauce was "$1or $2".
The sides were equally expensive and lousy. Green beans buried in garlic, brussel sprouts over-seasoned and mashed potatoes covered with melted butter--$29 for the inedible sides!
Tuna was excellent but single crab cake was $25
We have eaten in great restaurants all over the world and only rarely did we feel taken advantage of like this.
Hard to believe that this place survives with so many better choices in NYC

I try to go to a new steakhouse every year and this one is definately in my Top 3 favorites. We came here for my brother's birthday and the ambiance was great for the occasion. The Filet mignon medallions on the specials menu was phenomenal. Cooked perfectly. Highly recommended restaurant!

Excellent customer service. After being brought out water, we waited at our table for 30 minutes (even though it was New Year's Eve) until a waiter finally came by. Because of this Del Frisco's very graciously voided our appetizers, drinks, and desserts on the final bill.

Hands down the best service we received in NYC while visiting for NYE. It was so outstanding from the time we walked through the door that I couldn't wait to write this review. The servers, Donna and Curtis, made the experience very memorable for our last meal of 2016. Ask for either of them and you will be pleased with the impeccable service and overall uplifting personalities. The filet is the best around, the cocktails are the shiz too. Definitely add this to your dining list, it's worth the price.

Never fails to be a great choice for dinner
Jumbo Lump Crab Cake - Very Good; hearty pieces of crab meat.
Shrimp Cocktail Trio - Very good; of the 3 sauces the cocktail sauce was the best; shrimp size was very large.
Bone-in-Filet, Medium, with Truffle Butter - Cooked just right, seasoned lightly, and just great piece of meat. Truffle butter takes the flavor to another level of enjoyment.
Lobster Mac and Cheese - Can't go wrong; pairs well with the steaks
Potatoes Au Gratin - Another flavorful dish; I always get this with my steaks
Great spot for special occasions. It is very pricey, otherwise I'd go here more often.
