Das Funky Fisch ist ein neu interpretiertes Fisch-Restaurant.
Anders als das klassische Konzept, das mit Gemütlichkeit wirbt, war uns hier wichtig das Architektonische der Räumlichkeiten zu betonen, die Quintessenz des Fisches und die Leichtigkeit des Seins.
Die Neonbeleuchtung ist eine Installation in Anlehnung an Mondrian, welches das Deckenraster aus Beton aufbricht.
Die Fischvitrine im Zentrum des Restaurants setzt sich mit seiner täglich frischen Auslage an Austern, Meeresfrüchten und Fischen perfekt in Szene.

I have visited Berlin 3 times and Funky Fisch is a must visit restaurant again and again. The food, the staff, and the atmosphere are exceptional.

Traditionell und doch ganz anders: Deutsche Küche 'Tapas Style' im PeterPaul.
Wir kochen traditionelle hausgemachte Klassiker wie Königsberger Klopse, Sauerbraten, Kassler, Fischstäbchen, Thüringer Klößchen und einige andere Gerichte, welche alle in der Mitte des Tisches zum Teilen serviert werden.
So hat man die Möglichkeit viele deutsche Klassiker „en miniature“ zu probieren.

If you’re only going to one restaurant in Berlin, this is an absolute must! The service was fantastic — attentive without being intrusive, and they made us feel more like friends than customers. And the food? Absolutely incredible! Don’t let the menu put you off. Some of the dishes might sound a little unusual, but this is truly high-level cuisine. The highlight of our trip!

We ate here the last night of a 10 day trip to Germany. It was a perfect and memorable way to end our trip. My husband chose the 7 course menu with the addition of Wagyu. I had the vegetarian menu. Each course was unique, delicious and presented beautifully. Our server, Lan, could not have been nicer or more helpful--it is obvious that everyone who works at this restaurant really cares about what they're doing. I can't even really point to any standout dishes, because we enjoyed everything, but the chicken, the leeks and the dessert, which combined sheep's milk yogurt with celery granita and plums, were what come to mind right now. All the dishes combined a variety of flavors and ingredients that were truly creative. This kind of experimentation doesn't always work, but here it really did. The staff were even kind enough to mail me my sweater, which I left behind, and asked for no payment. This restaurant makes us wish we lived in Berlin. If we did, we'd be regulars!

Wow! One of the best „Nouvelle cuisine Japonaise“ restaurants. Very creative dishes. One of the omekase menus is definitely the way to go. Nice selection of sake‘s served perfectly. And extremely helpful service. Definitely coming back!

Amazing, would absolutely recommend Benedict to anyone who was thinking of attending. The food was great, the service fantastic and the atmosphere relaxed as it should be for brunch. Will definitely be putting it on the itinerary for the next visit to Berlin.
