La Scala now features a mix of local and seasonal cuisine with traditional familial influences. These influences begin on the Isle of Capri and journey to all her Mediterranean neighbors. But that’s not all…we strive daily to keep our menu fresh and original in concept and execution. La Scala is operated by a well-trained team of personable and professional staff in the dining room and kitchen, under the direction of Executive Chef & Owner, Anthony Barba. La Scala Mediterranean Bistro has made it’s home in Historic Downtown Rome, Georgia, housed in the former Montgomery Ward Department Store Building with two convenient entrances on Broad Street & Tribune Street.

Loved it! Wonderful waitress. Food was all delicious… especially that corn chowder and the peach rum ice cream. Atmosphere was perfect. We sat and chatted quietly for a couple of hours without having to compete with surrounding noise. We will definitely be back!!!

Antebellum has been our 'go to' restaurant for years and I'm pleased to report it still delivers! Great food, terrific cocktails and wonderful desserts, specifically Gayle's cakes, are a hallmark.

The food and service were both outstanding as always. The soup and salad set the bar high for the rest of the meal and we were NOT disappointed. It was all wonderful. One last thing, the white wine matched the food perfectly!

New and clean restaurant with neat decor. Service was excellent. Food was good for basic appetizers and gyros. We did not have our pup with us but appears there is a nice enclosed patio for furry friends which we always appreciate when she happens to be with us when we are out and about.

Absolutely delightful. You can’t beat the view. The shrimp and grits were spicy and sweet and I loved them. The brisket Benedict was absolutely perfect and their pancake’s were delicious. The staff was enchanting and welcoming. If you want an authentic Georgia dining experience it is a must.

Beyond phenomenal experience, would highly recommend!! The menu had amazing and diverse offerings, the staff was so incredibly kind and accommodating and made my dad’s 60th birthday one to remember. We cannot wait to come back again!
