I love Drury Buildings, it's been my favorite place for a while. The only thing I'd say is it can get quite noisy in there so if you're looking for a place to chat while having dinner that might be difficult.

staff were nice enough but the food was disappointing, we ordered a few orders of the waffles and they were all dry and didn't taste good - wasn't fresh batter. They also didn't have a couple of things that weren't on the menu. Coffee was good!

Manager showed us to our table. We had to ask for a menu after a while which wasn’t ideal. Then had to ask to order also. Service was quite poor considering. However, food was delicious

Booked for BH lunch and place was getting busy. Our table ordered gambas, broccoli, focaccia, picanha steak, arancini, and cocktails (white wedding & one with their own honey). Food was overpriced and mediocre at best. Picanha arrived well done when it was supposed to be medium rare. Everything was soaked in oil (yes, focaccia is supposed to be like that but rest not necessarily), and the arancini was just like a mushy croquette without wild mushrooms or rice. Drinks were tasty but not worth the price. I can see this place has potential but is a little run down.

We had all heard great things about the food and we were not disappointed. The cocktails are not the usual run of the mill, but were absolutely delicious. We were sat in the “outside” area but it is actually completely covered, so we were surprised to find it was also the smoking area. As 4 non smokers we found it more than annoying to be completely surrounded by so many smokers as it is not made clear on the booking page that this would be the case. However we did enjoy the food, the drinks & the ambiance and will make sure to book an inside table next time.

We did not enjoy being rushed to finish our food. Apparently our table was needed and we had to leave. We were not told about this when we were shown to our table. As a result we do not wish to go back to Drury Buildings.

However, if you booked through the Open Table App, you can find that the table is available for 2 hours and 15 minutes for parties of 2 and that can vary for bigger groups. As usual Drury Buildings does not disappoint. Food was epic, wine went down a treat, service was faultless and there was a great vibe to the place. To top it all off it was great value and for a place that has been there so long, it's decorated like it's new and the toilets are spotless.

The food was incredible. You get what you pay for, so be prepared to spend more than you would at a chain restaurant like Red Lobster or Ruby Tuesdays or Olive Garden- the like what you so often see in North America. The cocktails were divine. Also expensive. Because we planned for this beautiful meal, we weren’t hammered by sticker shock.

Really delicious tapas style dishes, we shared 4 and were full, and the wine was lovely. Also had dessert, could have been a little more chantilly cream with the apple and blackberry crumble but it was very tasty. We were able to order espresso martinis even though they weren't on the menu. Excellent value as well.
