The bright and airy first floor dining room is a really comfortable space to relax and enjoy lunch or dinner and a glass or two of fine wine. We use locally sourced, seasonal produce where possible combined with the very best Italian ingredients to create a menu that is modern and unique. We consider ourselves a contemporary Irish restaurant with an Italian influence.
Starter read “Gubeen with salami”. No cheese evident on the plate. Main dish was pasta with “pulled beef cheek” which was about 5% meat and the rest small chunks of fat all for a not insignicant price of €25.
Despite this disappointment the cocktail was excellent.
This is my second time here and I was again really happy with the food. It’s high quality, flavourful and the prix fixe menu is excellent value. What was disappointing was the service. It was unnecessarily slow considering the restaurant wasn’t even that busy. However, I would still recommend this restaurant.
Delicious brunch and a complementary glass of Prosecco with was lovely!
Third time and I have been starters were great mains ok but every time the service is rushed and we have been nearly pushed out prob won’t go again.
Excellent meal with ample starters and good steaks. All our desserts were delicious too. Brought a friend and will go back again.
I love Drury buildings! Great food and stylish decor and it’s really good value. It’s located in a really nice part of the city and there are plenty of shops and bars near by. We love their brunch menu which has a main and a cocktail for less than €20 ! I will be back many times ❤️
Drury buildings has managed to create a great balance between good food and good value in a very nice environment.
A few girls and I went for a meal on a Saturday evening. The decor and atmosphere were lovely and the service was friendly and prompt. The menu has a great selection and everyone was happy with how their meal tasted. Get the Black Truffle Papardelle!!
Overall, great experience. Cocktails were delicious!
Been here before, and i could not fault the food at any point but upon return it was a disaster. We ordered 2x Ribeyes one medium one medium-well, and the pappardelle. My steak (Medium) was cooked perfectly but some of the fat was still raw, on the second steak requested medium well it was rare in the middle and dry. The pappardelle was cooked well but the sauce was potent with garlic. The deserts were fine but the mains were a let down in comparison to our first experience.
What a lovely experience at Drury buildings. We only had a main each, both a pasta dish. The truffle pasta was the winner. Great drinks - really good cocktail options and even made us an espresso martini when it wasn't on the menu. The bar downstairs was busy with a great atmosphere after our lovely meal in the restaurant. Would definitely recommend and will be back.
My husband and I went to Drury Buildings on a whim. We were both very satisfied with our meals and I was thrilled to get a balanced, tasty vegetarian meal.
Always a good option for a few drinks or some food.
We were a party of 7.
Starters were great but the actual mussels were small. Mains : hake was delicious, pasta and risotto were bland, steak was fine.
Drinks extremely expensive.
Service was good.
Bill for 5 starters, 7 mains, no extra sides,no dessert or coffee .
Drinks were 2 beers, 2 g&ts, 2 whiskeys and 1 bottle of the only savion blanc wine on the list.
The building was fab.
3 times there and 3 different experiences ... from great to sub- optimal. So you need to manage your expectations
We had a lovely brunch and were really impressed by the venue. We had a lovely waitress who was excellent
They are in the details in every aspect. From the way they welcome you, to the salt and pepper on the table. The food is amazingly good, always trust a restaurant with 8 main dishes, they know what to do and how to get it done. Will come back soon!
I've eaten here many times before and never a problem. However, mozarella and tomato salad almost frozen and inedible as it was not at room temperature. Venison very rare - I wasn't asked how I would like it cooked. Risotto served with outer leaves of artichoke. Not very nice. Overpriced overall - Almost €90 for 3 early birds, one water and two minerals. No wine.
The food was overpriced for what it was. We had dined the previous night in the Ivy and ordered the same amount of food - 4 cocktails 2 starters 2 mains a side and a bottle of wine and the bill was €40 cheaper in the Ivy. €25 for a pasta dish is extortionate.
Pleasant overall experience. Food was served in a timely manner. Atmosphere is on the louder side.
Generally it’s just ok. The food was nice, as was the service but it lacks atmosphere.
It was a lovely night, great food and service and the early bird three course for €30 was brilliant
Really enjoyed the food and found the menu very good value! The staff were nice but they were not very attentive- our starters arrived very quickly and were delicious! Our mains quickly followed and the waitress checked to see if everything was okay, before we had taken a mouthful - we were not checked on again until I asked for the bill.
Really enjoyed our meal here and Brunchnis really good value. The outside area is a smoking area FYI if your sensitive to this. It didn’t bother us for majority of the meal but later we moved inside.
Nice atmosphere and good food quality.
Maybe a little overpriced.
Pleasant staff and nice atmosphere
Mains were very oily, too much sauce and very limited choice.
Started of goats cheese which all 3 of use had was lovely.
I had 2 mocktails I ordered the same one 2nd time but it was a completely different drink so not great to be honest.
Beautiful food. Really good quality. Pricey but very tasty. Service was all over the place though. Waited 20 minutes for a glass of wine. Had to ask for everything twice. Felt like. O dedicated server for our table.
Great place and good food. Value is good with the set dinner, but otherwise slightly expensive.
Had Christmas lunch menu. Good range of choices. Delightful starters of wild fowl terrine and smoked salmon. Venison main was cooked perfectly. Really appreciated sides of skinny chips and green veg without having to pay extra. Cheese board was big enough to share and again lovely selection. Lovely ambience and excellent service. Attentive without being overpowering. Definitely will be back.
It’s was good.
The restaurant was truly excellent, the staff were so helpful on night and gave us a table on terrace on balcony which was lovely when we finished meal. Great night thanks to staff.
Food was great as always. The place was very busy due to Christmas time
Rushed experience, starters arrived before the wine. Uninformed waiter suggested that a plate of Italian meats was similar to an unavailable game terrine starter. Venison main course was heavy on red cabbage with the world’s smallest potato fondant. The food was good but overall let down on some points.
The food was good. Service was friendly but we were a small group so sometimes were delayed as there were quite a few big groups. The large groups made it noisy also. But nice location and friendly staff.
Great food and service. Very nice heated outdoor area.
Very nice - fantastic food on a busy night. Lovely room.
Nice menu, lovely food, good service but a little bit noisy
Nice ambience and very friendly staff in the restaurant , food is very good - steack and always keep in eye on Customers buy a bit pric for overall
Food average. Service good. Wine good. Expected better.
Great cocktails, varied and tasty food , excellent wine choices and all in beautifully renovated building. Staff attentive , helpful & really friendly. Restaurant upstairs is a beautiful light airy room, bar and outdoor seating areas cool and comfortable. All in a really great place for a night out...
