Great food and atmosphere with attentive staff
We booked a table for a special occasion. The service is really nice & the dinner is really Good !
I really recommand this place either for a drink with friends or for a dinner with love. The only trouble that happened to me (but everytime on Friday or Saturday) is that the music is far too load in the bar & almost impossible to hear each other. (Not in the restaurant) Hope they will turn it down for the next times.
Lovely spot, been there twice and the food hasn't disappointed on either occassion - will certainly be back.
The bar downstairs is more pricey than it should be and the music is too loud for a venue that isn't catering to a dance floor, although I still do enjoy the vibe.
Great starters and main course, although a limited choice of desserts and the caramel tart was disappointing. Noise levels were high, which made it hard to talk, but the overall ambience was good. One big disappointment was the toilets - these are downstairs in the bar and were not clean. I think a restaurant of this standing needs to have its own toilets, rather than making its customers traipse up and down stairs!
Have to compliment the staff who were attentive and friendly during our visit. The food was very tasty and the early bird is great value
Great meal and service. Only gave 3 stars for value because tge cost of a glass of house white wine was very bad value at €8.50!! Everything else was very good.
Nice brunch menu. Food was tasty and served quickly. Staff were very upbeat and attentive. Nice spot.
A lovely spot with some great food and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. I would definitely recommend to a friend. I was very impressed with the traditional Italian menu and how it is laid out as if you were in Italy.
I had a lovely Sunday afternoon with Friends at Drury Building. We ordered the host your own roast and it certainly didn't disappoint. The beef was so tender cooked perfectly and it came with all the trimmings. I can not recommend it enough. The restaurant was very quite but I think this was due to a lot of sore heads in Dublin after the rugby win the night before. I will definitely be back again soon.
Short but nice Italian menu. Portions a little on the small side. No complaints about the quality of the food. However, their coffee was awful. Maybe it was just a bad night for coffee. The service was very good. However, the noise from downstairs was little overwhelming towards the end of the meal. Then again it was the evening after a rugby international.
Great location and would return.
Rizoto was not good, maximum 8cl of wine in the glass, and too noisy.
Restaurant was nice and service was great.
Music in the downstairs bar kept us in the Venue.
Too pricy for what it offers, the menu has only few options
I m afraid this restaurant does not succeed in offering real Italian cuisine. Food quality is ok, but preparations are terrible. Better to have real Italian chefs to have a real Italian offer. Too expansive as well.
My husband and I went on a mini break to Dublin for the weekend to celebrate his 30th birhtday. Drury Buildings was the perfect place to have a nice meal and cocktail to celebrate. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and the staff were attentive. The location is great too.
Drury buildings will definitely see there very often. Gorgeous food, great atmosphere and impeccable service. It was an amazing experience.
This restaurant was very disappointing and bad value for money. We got sirloin steak which was fatty and greasy. We complained to the waitress who didn’t care. Service was poor. We will never go back.
Unfortunately for the first time my favourite restaurant has let me down, the menu used to excite me and be a mouth-watering display of food. However, on Friday evening it was a letdown. I opted for the rib eye as nothing else really appealed, the chips were not fully cooked and the caramelised onion served with the steak was left with the dry skin on the outside. The cocktails, nonetheless, were as always, fabulous!
I had a fabulous time at my dinner. It was my second time and won’t be my last. The food the service and price is great !. We went for the set dinner and it was just gorgeous.
Lovely food and great wine selection. They ran out of the fish and it was early in the night, so a few people at our table were disappointed. The first was absolutely divine, so that's probably why it was sold out.
Service was good but definitely could have been better, some lovely staff and some that could practice smiling! Would prefer if one person was dealing with our table rather than 4 different people. Overall though, it was a very enjoyable experience.
Very poor acoustics so it was deafeningly loud, not that I would expect a place to be quiet of a Saturday evening; I'm 25 and I had to practically shout across the table to be heard.
Service was chaotic and people didn't really seem to know which table was theirs for taking and delivering orders.
Food was decent but overpriced, especially considering the service and chaos you had to eat it in
Lovely restaurant with friendly staff and great food however wouldn’t book again for lunch as we were the only people there! no atmosphere.. have eaten there in the evening and it was much better.
Warm atmosphere, lovely space, attentive staff. Food was excellent and beer cold. Only small criticism I think was the wine was not chilled adequately. Would recommend and will be returning soon hopefully
Everything was brilliant, great atmosphere and drinks. Real traditional Italian food. The black truffle pasta is incredible.
very friendly staff. food was nice but menu a bit limited.
new menu is fantastic. prices are reasonable. service was excellent. great place
Booked a table for lunch on Dec 28th for 12.30 for two. This was neant to be a special Christmad gift to my friend. However, when we arrived we were told that there was no lunch menu available! This was despite the fact that the full menu was advertised on the online booking. The only menu available was a brunch menu!!!!!! This wasn't what I booked. What an embarrassment! Particulary, as I had talked so positivelt about my previous experience there. I explained the situation to my friend who, graciously, agreed to go elsewhere for lunch.
This was an extremely disappointing experience that could have been easily avoided.
Good location, good service but food was average. I don’t think I would go again for food, but perhaps for drinks as the bar downstairs had a good vibe.
A very enjoyable experience good food good atmosphere friendly staff
I have been to Drury Buildings for a variety of events and have never been disappointed with the food or service.
Beautiful interior, good atmosphere but the food fell flat this time. I'd been there before and food was great but this time nothing was amazing. Four of us ate and had at least 2 courses each but sorry to say that none of the dishes were worth returning for.
Food was so tasty and generous portions. I’ll be back!
Great cocktails, frosty welcome from the hostess, great starters & desserts, average mains, rushed service (our coats were essentially dumped on us).
Visited on a recommendation from a frequent diner who was horrified at our experience so hopefully just a one-off during a busy period.
We had an early pre show meal on Saturday night, the food was very good however the service was lacking. I understand the time of year has people busy but compared to other restaurants in the area I did not find the service genuinely friendly. They overcharged us on the bill and whilst this was fixed it reminded me of my previous experience in Drury buildings where I had to ask 3 times for the bill.
Good food let down by staff who don't appear to like their jobs.
Excellent service and great food. We were very well accommodated and staff are extremely welcoming and friendly.
Had a lovely lunch here with a friend. Service was excellent, all the staff were incredibly friendly and genuinely nice. Food was excellent and my friend who I was there with really loved the place. She was visiting from London and would eat out a lot but she commented several times on how impressed she was. The Christmas lunch menu was very good value. I was glad we got there early as it was getting quite busy by the time we were leaving. I would highly recommend Drury Buildings. Excellent!
We had a great evening at Drury Buildings. The food was tasty and the portions very generous. Service was friendly and attentive. Wine and cocktails were great. The place had a lovely buzz.
Brought my 2 children who are great foodies and they were treated with the same respect as any adult! Was lovely to see. Great food, location, service and ambience
Loved it, food was fantastic service staff were nice only thing that let it down was the fire alarm going off. Once was unfortunate but when it happened a third time it was just really annoying.(Apparently someone kept opening the fire exit)
