The bright and airy first floor dining room is a really comfortable space to relax and enjoy lunch or dinner and a glass or two of fine wine. We use locally sourced, seasonal produce where possible combined with the very best Italian ingredients to create a menu that is modern and unique. We consider ourselves a contemporary Irish restaurant with an Italian influence.

Very nice - fantastic food on a busy night. Lovely room.
Nice menu, lovely food, good service but a little bit noisy
Nice ambience and very friendly staff in the restaurant , food is very good - steack and always keep in eye on Customers buy a bit pric for overall
Great cocktails, varied and tasty food , excellent wine choices and all in beautifully renovated building. Staff attentive , helpful & really friendly. Restaurant upstairs is a beautiful light airy room, bar and outdoor seating areas cool and comfortable. All in a really great place for a night out...
Place is lovely but food a bit too overdone- portion sizes too big and food a bit overdone. Cocktails lovely and service excellent
When I booked the table I was not asked if I wanted smoking or not smoking - when we arrived the table was in the smoking area. Neither of us smoke but they wouldn't let us move inside. There seemed to be about 4 people seating patrons and none of them were very friendly or helpful. It was horrible in the outside area, people at other tables were smoking when we were eating. If you're by the wall it's cold and if you're facing the heaters your face is on fire. The service wasn't great, really seemed like they couldn't be bothered. I think it could be so much better if they made more of an effort and checked if the table was to be smoking or non smoking.
Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Steaks are highly recommended!
I had my 40th birthday party in the private room above the restaurant. The canapés were amazing (everyone commented on the quality of the food), the room was perfect, staff very helpful - it was the perfect spot for a party. Highly recommended!
Went for a good friends 40th Bday, staff looked after us brilliantly, food was superb, very comfortable & great ambiance.
Really enjoyed . Food and service really good .. we called to say we were running late and it was no problem
Had a fantastic night here. The wait staff were always available with friendly and approachable personalities.
I took my girlfriend here to celebrate her graduation and it was the perfect way to start our evening in Dublin.
Delicious food and a positive and influential service team....nice and ambient on the balcony
We really enjoyed our night; the food was delicious and the staff were really lovely.
Unfortunately the toilets downstairs were quite dirty and there was a very strong smell. In my opinion the toilets need more regular attention with such a high volume of people using the services.
A very good restaurant, nice location, food was great! I can highly recommend Drury Buildings when visiting Dublin!
Great ambience, good food and a great place to have drinks (in the restaurant) even though the loud music from the bar downstairs was invasive. Noise from large groups also an issue, luckily this time round the group left whilst we were having our starters. Shame the outdoor area isn't bigger.
Last min booking but a brilliant spot, great food, friendly staff, good seating on the balcony.
Food was excellent but the service was lacking. Was given the wrong menu three times (twice dinner menu and once the wrong drink menu) and our server came by the table every 3 minutes asking to take our order. We were also notified by OpenTable that we missed our reservation even though we showed up. Was a Monday night so perhaps they were understaffed.
Nice venue and overall good experience. The one comment that I do need to add is that we were seated in the restaurant area, which is treated as an outdoor area, which was also a smoking area and we had people at table next to us smoking when we were eating. You do need to inform customers of this beforehand as we probably would have requested non smoking area.
Great tasty Italian food and gorgeous desserts too.
Great food but impersonal (and sometimes too fast) service. Will still be back.
I had a very nice dinner with my friend. The space is very cozy, the food is wonderful. Friendly service. I will return to the nearest day xx
It is lovely, food delicious but always really loud so hard to have a proper chat with anyone.
Nice interior, good service, average food. Early bird is a good value for money.
Great atmosphere. Really friendly staff. Great food.
very pleasant and food very good, without being too pretentious , loved the atmosphere
we enjoyed our evening in Drury Buildings. The staff member waiting on us was very new and was not able to explain any of the items on the menu for us. We had to ask a few questions about the dishes we were interested in because the menu did not describe the dish or ingredients sufficiently.
Due to a misunderstanding we got our starter and main courses at the same time, but the staff were very apologetic and we are happy the issue was resolved to our satisfaction.
We enjoyed our meal, but we felt what we ate didn't reflect the prices we paid.
All in all, the venue is very nice, stylish and the bar downstairs is good for a drink before and/or afterwards.
Food and service were lovely. We had a party of 8 - mixed ages - for a special occasion. The room is lovely but it was a busy Tuesday evening and so loud that we found it very difficult to hear each other. Toward the latter end of the evening when the room cleared and quietened it was lovely.
We ate here on Saturday night having previously eaten here and having an enjoyable meal. The starter & desert were really nice, however the steak main course was very salty and the stone bass main course wasn’t nice, cool in the centre and very rubbery to eat. I’m not sure if it was properly cooked as the lighting is poor and I found it difficult to determine. Unfortunately the chips to accompany it didn’t arrive until I was almost finished and were over cooked. We informed the waitress about the fish and she very nicely took it and the desert off the bill without having to be asked - this was much appreciated. I think this restaurant is more suitable for large groups as it is quite noisy.
After getting married in Drury a year ago it was wonderful to be so warmly welcomed back to celebrate our anniversary. Amazing food, spot on service and beautiful surroundings. Can't wait to go back again for next years anniversary again!
Excellent food in lovely surroundings with fantastic and helpful staff. The fish dishes were incredible. Handy to have the lively and fun bar downstairs for pre or post dinner drinks. Will definitely be back.
Although the setting and staff were lovely, the brunch was sadly lack lustre. The vinegar in the hollandaise was so overpowering I had to scrape it off. Dishes ordered by others at the table were also missing key ingredients that had been listed on the menu. For example, a ginger & stewed rhubarb tart arrived as a custard tarte with berries...no rhubarb or ginger in sight. The corned beef hash was missing the fried onions listed on the menu. In addition, when a 2nd salted caramel martini was ordered to the table an espresso martini arrived in its place. All I can hope is that they were just having an off day! I've been here for lunch/dinner several times before and had a really good experience. As said, the staff couldnt have been nicer and the setting is STUNNING! However, it would not entice me to return for or recommend brunch.
Vegetarian options weren't great, but other than that the restaurant staff and food were all wonderful!
A beautiful meal, in a modern, chic setting. Very impressed and very happy with the overall dining experience.
Restaurant looks lovely, food was nicely presented but some dishes were lacking flavour and for the price that was disappointing. There were also a few mistakes in the order which when we told them, they sorted straight away. Staff were friendly.
The food and atmosphere was great in the restaurant... it was loud and lively and the service was great...felt a little rushed as food is served super quick but it did not affect my experience as I enjoyed everything about this place..
Booked for lunch but as we would have been the only guests in the large upstairs restaurant we opted to have brunch instead downstairs in the outside patio. Brunch was uninspired staples with cocktail option. Music level increased throughout brunch until it became so loud as to be irritating. Service was good and best part of the experience. Not worth it, considering the good lunch/brunch option sin town.
Very nice place with tasty food and extremely welcome staff!
It was quite load and not teenage/kid friendly! We chose wrong! X
Last night, we dined in Drury Buildings. When we arrived I realized that (i) I had mistakenly made the reservation for the night before and (ii) as a consequence The Taste voucher I had for my boyfriend's birthday was one day out of date. However, when we explained this to the Manager, she didn't mind at all. She accepted our voucher and showed us a nice table by the window. We were given advice on the Spritz cocktails on offer and I can genuinely say that the food was top notch - the starters and main courses were big servings made with exceptionally fresh vegetables and meat/fish. The tiramisu for dessert was delish. I would definitely recommend this place to others for its friendly staff and tasty food.
Absolutely flawless. The food was to die for, delicious and very well portioned. The staff were right on the line of being attentive but not overbearing. Would absolutely recommend and will definitely be back.
