Named after Elias (Ely) Shapley of Greenville, Mississippi, Ely’s was established in 2008 with an emphasis on the highest quality beef, seafood, and spirits, while featuring an extensive wine list and friendly professional service. Located upstairs overlooking the Railroad District in Old Town Ridgeland (MS), Ely’s mixes the old with the new, offering time tested dishes in a cozy, upscale, contemporary setting unlike most local steak and seafood restaurants.

    It is modern yet has a slightly industrial feel while still being intimate and comfortable. The food and service were outstanding, and I highly recommend this restaurant.

    Our Most Amazing meal of the entire year! We had high expectations and it somehow exceeded them. It’s now a “must do” when we’re in the Jackson area.

    I had the sea bass and my husband had a filet. They were both marvelous. The service was to perfection.
