Wow, the tapas plates were wonderful. Great variety and very tasty. Service was excellent to start but, took a few requests to get the bill. It did get busier so, no worries. The food alone is reason to come here. Excellent!
Wonderful staff, really helpful, cool venue, original and tasty food, lots of different options.
Voyage en famille
Food was amazing! Our server was very nice, but she kept forgetting when we’d ask her for something, and she also took our chicken dish away before we were finished and we were talking, so we didn’t even realize what happened to have said anything to her
The service and food were very good. Our table was available on arrival It was mother’s day and graduation going on so the place was very busy and our waiter was still able to keep up with our party of 7 Everyone enjoyed themselves and spoke highly of the seafood tower we had. A great experience !
Wonderful service and great food!
As always enjoyed eating at fade social. Remarkable service and great food .
Great atmosphere, some dishes were so so others were excellent. For this reason I think the menu should be reviewed certain dishes such as bland stake brought the dinning experience from a 9 to a 7. I would highly recommend the crab, chickpea chips and the donuts 👌🏼
We had a fantastic evening in fade st - given it was so busy and the team were run off their feet.
A gentleman serving our table was fab! He made recommendations, was super efficient and really friendly!
Very hard to fault the experience in the Gastrobar at Fade Street Social – always delivers fantastic food and killer cocktails with outstanding professional service. Sitting at the bar watching the symphony of chefs is a particular treat.
If there is one complaint it is the liberal use of parmesan on so many dishes – but on reflection I don't know if I believe it's a negative.
Brunch tasty but portions small. Bugbear- struggling to get attention of staff.
Great service, cocktails, and food. We were greeted immediately and had prefect seats. The Gastro Bar is quiet with soft music and nice to have a conversation. Highly recommended
Great food, great atmosphere and great value! We loved it and will definitely come again!
To be honest, I am normally very sceptical of high profile restaurants like this. Normally over priced and over hyped. However, this first trip to Fade Street for an important business meal with a foreign colleague hit all the marks. The service was great (we were 30 minutes late due to traffic), the food and wine was top and atmosphere and ambience of the Gastro bar was a perfect background. I thoroughly recommend.
Great location and ambiance - would definitely recommend.
Service and food were both delicious.
Three of us went two older and one younger, it fitted the bill for all three of us and we will have no hesitation in visiting the Gastro bar in the future possibly many times. We found the staff very nice and efficient and we all loved the food just the right sort of quantities.
Food was amazing. And staff very efficient. We request a wine change as it seemed like was open for while and the waitress exchange it without a fuss. Highly Recommended
We did not know the Gastro bar but went on adverts. First impressions were ´let's get out of here!'
Packed. Too noisy. Impossible to hold a conversation.
Good food but portions exceptionally small and expensive. A big mistake. Would not return,
Great food, though price maybe a bit high for small tapas selections. Delicious cocktails & very nice bartenders.
Me and my husband came down from the North and came to Fade Street as it was recommended by a friend. We weren’t disappointed. I would recommend this restaurant to my friends. Cocktails upstairs were sensational also.
Had a really bad experience here on Saturday night - very slow service from start to finish, waited 5 minutes to be seated despite it not being busy, staff were all talking amongst themselves, our food came out at all different times meaning the sides were cold by the time our steak came out, waiter took our desert order twice and despite this he forgot to bring one of the two drinks ordered and the actual desert itself?! We were then left waiting to pay the bill for 20 minutes despite the fact it was not busy.. Shocking experience start to end, especially for the prices you're paying.. you expect better.. we won't be back.
We had a Lovely tapas dinner with a nice bottle OF wine. The best part as well was seeing the chef cooking our food. 👍😋
Absolutely amazing ! We were on a holiday to Dublin and ended up coming twice in one week as we loved it so much. Incredible food, which we could see being made, friendly and helpful staff and wonderful cocktails after the meal . Best place in Dublin to eat and the tapas style menu means that you get to try a range of the delicious dishes.
Overall the food was good, but not very vegan friendly. The chickpea chips definitely need a bit more flavour. Having said that our waiter was lovely and the overall atmosphere was good.
Ambiente piacevole, cucina a vista, piatti con porzioni da tapas ma prezzo da piatto principale, gustosi e con ingredienti selezionati, ben cucinati e presentati. Servizio non sempre accurato. Bagno pulitissimo.
The food is good but portions are very small and pricey and the place is very noisy.
Incredible creative food and great service. Every tapas was as good as the one before it.
I had visited FSS previously and found everything great. On this occasion though it wasn't quite right. Ordered first round of tapas and wine. We were almost finished the food before we had to ask for the wine. Ordered a second round out tapas and these took nearly 25 minutes before they arrived. Overall the food was just ok and the service just ok so won't be going back.
Two plates of food out before drinks. 15 minutes later two more plates. Another full 25 minutes before the fifth plate came out. I know tapas are “as they’re ready, but this was comical”. Service poor
Great dining with friends on our weekend away in Dublin.
Meal was fine - wasnt blown away by the food. I left satisfied but I wouldnt be rushing to get back. 1 dish wasn't brought out - had to have it removed from the bill. Dessert was definitely the highlight!!
This was our first visit to the tapas bar, being already won over by the restaurants in the suite. And we were not disappointed at all. The fare was just as exciting as the other restaurants and every bit as inventive and mouth watering. Hats off to Dylan on this outfit too. Speaking of hats, though, we four sat at table 201 and it was decidedly cols each time a door opened during the evening.
Absolutely fantastic place! Would say In one word about the food, the service, the atmosphere- exquisite!!!will be back soon!
What makes this restaurant is primarily the food and staff. The buzz adds to the ambiance and the view in the cocktail bar is really good. I will certainly return
Had never visited here before and it was definitely the best tapas I’ve had in a long time!! Service was brilliant too, would highly recommend to try out
Very expensive with very little choice of dishes. Service was very good though.
I felt the food in Fade St. Social (tapas) wasn't so spectacular, but it was mediocre. Also the prices are pretty high for the tapas choices, and we felt like they weren't so special. The tuna dish that we ordered to share was cooked too much even though we asked for medium-rare. The ambiance wasn't so great either, as the tables are cramped up, and we were really close to our neighbours. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place.
Read good reviews and was exciting to eat here. Food was average and fairly bland considering the price I thought.
We got our food long before we got our drinks.
Service was poor and inattentive.
Sitting with on stools for the whole meal was uncomfortable.
Fairly disappointing to be honest
This was our 4th visit to Fade Street Social. We always head there when we travel to Dublin. This time we were quite disappointed. We arrived and we were drenched by the heavy rain, the young lady at reception straight away got us out of our wet coats and hung them up and got a blow heater to get them dried off. Fantastic - just what we had come to expect here.
Our Waiter was a great character (tall, dyed blonde hair) and very knowledgeable, again what we have come to expect from FSS.
Our disappointment was with some of our tapas.
Parmesan & onion puree skinny fries - don't waste your money. Once you eat the 4 fries on the top layer with the flavouring it's simply a portion of skinny fries.
Lobster Hogdog - tiny tiny tiny - all bread roll and the littlest bit of lobster topping. disappointing. Save your money.
Duck sharing plate approx 20euros - 5 tiny, thin slices of duck breast with a small skinny spring roll. Nothing special and tiny. Couldn't believe what we got for nearly 20euros. To be honest, it was pretentious and a disgrace that they thought that was acceptable.
Seasonal veg - was advised it was broccoli, delighted with that - however 3 small stems of long stem broccoli came out with a puree. My 2year old niece would eat more!
It's so disappointing when such a great place gets it so wrong. Its simply profit greed or pretentiousness or both.
Try the pork belly tapas, utterly delicious. The star of the show.
We were such Cheerleaders for FSS, we recommend it to everyone we know who is visiting Dublin. We will have to reconsider in the future now. Then again my opinion probably won't make many changes in their kitchen. We love to eat out and have ate all around the world and this is (WAS) our favourite. Such a shame.
Wasn't happy with the service, wrong order brought to table. Pretty bad table service by one particular waiter. Pushed against my wife without an apology.
