Fantastic food as always - the only down side was that I had mentioned that it was a special occasion, my wife's birthday and it was not acknowledged.
From the moment we walked in, the staff were happy and super attentive! There was a relaxed but professional attitude from everyone we spoke to and no request was too much! We had a table booked for 17.45 and had a show to go to at 19.30 and they went out of their way to bring our food to us ASAP with no corners cut. The food was stunning! We had the Chateaubriand which was beautifully cooked and all the sides were flawless. All in all a lovely experience all round and we will 100% be back.
Thank you to everyone who made our experience so lovely.
Was disappointed with the choices on the menu. I was expecting finer cuisine.
Fish choice was poor. Selected the burger. Which was excellent, but when I am out to dinner I always try and order something I would not normally cook at home. My expectations were higher. Staff should be wearing maks not shields as moisture from our mouths drops down. Two bar
Drinks were very good value.
Great restaurant. Always great atmosphere. Service first class . Food delicious.
Food wasn't up to typical standard. Quite disappointing on this occasion
Excellent waiter - advice on meat from board excellent
Food was great (the lamb with roasted artichokes was a clear winner) - but the place was packed, really noisy, and service was a bit on the slow side.
Amazing food and amazing service as always.
It was a brilliant experience at the Fade street social restaurant. Everyone were very nice with us and they explain the menu and suggested the best plates and they really hit the target. Brilliant service with brilliant food and wine. I’ll recommend to all my friend
EVERYTHING FROM FOOD TO SERVICE TO COCKTAILS WAS IMPECCABLE. THE SPINACH AND CHEESE FLATBREAD AND THE PORNSTAR MARTINI WERE BEAUTIFUL. HAD MY 25TH BIRTHDAY THERE RECENTLY AND COULDNT FAULT A THING. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Great ambience & style . Lovely spot in Dublin not too far off grafton st only a 5 min walk
good food, great service! a pleasure to be back again after a long absence,
This place never ceases to amaze me, from the friendly host to the delicious food and drink selections.
Fade Street never fails to deliver a lovely meal. The staff was particularly great, especially considering it was the last meal before the lockdown. You wouldn’t know that their lives were about to become some unsettled. Testament to the fact that they are a team!
Food was good. Seemed understaffed maybe as service for drinks and bill took ages. Nice to be back out and about.
One of the worst culinary experiences.
Christmas set menu was overpriced. The food was mediocre bordering on strange, my pork belly was barely warm. The sirloin steak was grizzly and cold. The hummus starter smelled like vinegar and was inedible.
The waiting staff questioned our preferences when we voiced our concerns and tried to charge €3.80 for two cubes of focaccia bread when we handed back the hummus starter.
€340 for 5 people 2-course set menu, one drink each. One glass of wine and the replacement focaccia bread was taken off the bill as a peace offering.
Have had enjoyable experiences here in the past at the tapas and cocktails part but will be slow to recommend or return.
Not to mention a horrible draft coming from the windows...don’t usually write poor reviews as someone who works in hospitality but this was an exception due to the price point.
Staff couldn’t have been nicer, very attentive and felt very safe. Food was amazing!
Was there as part of pre Christmas celebrations. Only ordered mains , waited an hour for food which was awful. Ordered steak and asked for medium rare and it was overcooked, pre- sliced & swimming in awful gravy . Others ordered vegetarian option and it was over cooked also . After 45 minutes spoke to waiter about delay - he was rude and made lame excuses for delay -‘said that they were ‘platting up’ it was another 15 minutes before the food came. Couldn’t believe how bad it was . Was asked eventually by a different waiter ‘ how was everything’. Expressed our dissatisfaction with the service & the food . Apologies extended & In the end we were only charged for the wine we had. Also had to say that there was no ambience in the place & was shocked to see Dylan McGrath walking through restaurant without a face mask . Not a good example in these COVID 19 times. Have been to the restaurant years ago and can only say that it has certainly faded and not vey social! Will definitely not be returning .
Amazing staff who create a 5 star experience definitely recommend
Really enjoyed the night out there. Food was amazing! Starters and main course were beautiful. Dessert slightly disappointing.
Food was good but the service was very poor. They got our orders wrong for the mains and desert
I have been couple of time previously and had much more pleasant experience , but the last one was below the expectation , standard but nothing prompting to come back again.
Brilliant service and meal was delicious😋 Simply the best !
Food was great. Our server was so rude you were nearly afraid to order a drink from him.
Has been better in the past...
The steaks and all the food was simply fantastic in the past. This time it felt a lot weaker with less motivation by the kitchen. Food was not warm and not very well seasoned - kind of boring.
Coffees came to the table cold.
Despite empty restaurant no willingness to accommodate a change in reservation time.
Amazing food and good service. Staff very friendly and attentive.
Waiter was not very helpful. I was sitting at the end of the table so I could be social distance from my colleagues. He asked me to move to the side because I was too close to the nearby table although I had my back to them and the move meant I was approx 10cms further away from the nearby table.
Everything about our experience in Fade Street on Saturday was just amazing, we are still dreaming of the meal and the fabulous Margaux wine that complimented the steak . Every side order, every starter tasted delicious (there were 4 of us so we opted for one of everything on the menu!). We are so looking forward to our next visit there, can not come quick enough. Thoroughly recommend !!!
Lovely staff, such delicious food and cocktails...
Really good service , very friendly and accommodating
The staff were excellent. Friendly efficient and with some much needed humor.
Food was equally as good
Still the best in town and I’d never been for lunch but it was great value
Had a great lunch with friends at Fade Street Social. The staff could not have been more pleasant and food was outstanding.
Pauline was an excellent hostess, and couldn’t have been more accommodating. Menus were good.
Staff were excellent and accommodating.
The restaurant was not busy so it was disappointing that our steaks were mixed up and the server didn't know who had ordered what.
Food was ok - there wasn’t a large choice. I had the beef rump and it was a bit tough but the jus was gorgeous. I thought it was expensive for what we got. Including tip it was €400 for 4.
We arranged a taxi for 2hrs from start but we hadn’t gotten dessert by that stage and left without it !
Thought I would be in the main restaurant- not much atmosphere
I felt that lunch with a bottle of wine that cost 180 (including tip) was too way too expensive .
