   My husband, 2 teenagers, and I got different dishes so we could try different meals. The chef's meat, short rib, chicken, and pork were all delicious. Everything came out hot and as described in the menu. Cheesecake, chocolate lava, and lemon cake were good... so I'm told. Not everyone shared. Hmph. Great overall experience. Teens said they'd go back. Oh, the charcuterie was also lovely, but gone in a flash with teenagers at the table.

   Ambiance is nice. Food was good. Wasn’t brought water until after our drinks were brought when everyone else was getting water pretty much after being seated. Ordered the short rib benedict and one of the eggs was well done. Sent it back and they corrected the dish. Server didn’t check on us more than once. Place was full. This is my second time visiting. Would probably visit again but the service was a 15% tip and not a 20% tip.

   As always the food was delicious and the staff were very good, prompt and attentive. The decor is attractive and comfortable. The room is pretty live so it can be a bit noisy when there are a lot of people there. Has become one of my go-to restaurants in the area.

   The food is good, not exceptional, it’s a charming neighborhood kind of place with outrageous prices. I never mind paying top dollar for fine dining this place is not that. I won’t be back

   Really lovely HEARTY food. If you’re looking for great value and a big meal of fresh local fare this is the spot. We went at a slightly odd time on a weekday morning so it was a little quiet and empty at the time, but would love to go back at a livelier time.

    We used to go to Farmer’s all the time. The menu constantly changed and the wine list was awesome, including wines from the Guadalupe Valley. It was one of our favorite places in Mission Hills. Now the menu has not changed since the pandemic, The wine list is dismal. And the service has deteriorated. There was Christmas music still playing over the speakers. The attention to detail for the restaurant is gone and the food is just basic.

    Tried this for the first time. It was really good. I had the fish of the day Halibut, it was cooked to perfection it came with risotto and vegetables. My wife had roasted Chicken it was very good had some sort of sauce, with vegetables. We had Cheese cake for desert it was good not the best but good. The wine list by the glass was limited, only 1 Cabernet and it was not great. They did have good choices by the bottle. I choose a Malbec for wine only 1 choice by the glass, it was not good. Overall nice place a little pricey $48 for Halibut and $39 for chicken. Good food though.

    The food was so delicious. I made a reservation for indoors but no two person tables left so they sat us outside, which was fine. It was chilly but they had heater. Outside area very cute and quieter than indoors. I had the chicken and sister had short rib. Dinner was amazing. We both had the paddle out cocktail that was good. I highly recommend this place for a date night or catching up with friends since it’s not too loud.

    We came here to celebrate my birthday and our maternity shoot day (expecting our first)! The food was delicious, overall service was solid and the environment is nice! We put down that is was my birthday and just a special occasion weekend in general. They never said anything or offered us anything - which is no big deal just something to note if you book through open table…they likely miss the note so make sure to tell them if it’s important to you! The portions are okay, was expecting more considering the price but it’s San Diego 🤷🏽‍♀️ great food selection.

    We came for restaurant week so their menu was limited. We were a party of 3. Most of the food was very good, with just a few notable exceptions. My son ordered clam chowder which was unusually thin and very bland. My husband ordered the mango bread pudding which was a bit dry and seemingly without mango. On the flip side, my crab cake was excellent, as was my husband’s salad. I ordered the wild salmon which was flaky but not dry and the risotto was perfect. My husband’s NY was not overdone and the mushroom sauce/glaze gave it great flavor. Service was fabulous, but the parking isn’t good. However, after 3 courses, we probably needed to walk those 3 blocks. We will come again.

    Food was good and our server was great. However, we were asked to vacate our table because they need the table for a reservation. We too had a reservation through open table but arrived a little early and they seated us because it wasn’t busy. Granted we were done with our meal and leftovers are boxed up but we were still having a great conversation within our party of 4. Instead of asking if we could move to another table (plenty open) we were just told “Ladies, we need this table for a reservation.” Suffice it to say this local San Diegan will not be back, not even if the food is great, customer service is just as important.

    This is a great local neighborhood treasure for us in Mission Hills. The freshness and flavors of the cuisine here is what you would expect from a Farm-to-Table restaurant. The waitstaff is always very attentive, without being overbearing.

    We were a party of 3 for dinner, we arrived there about 5:10 for a 5:30 reservation. We ordered a glass of wine at the bar during happy hour. It was a generous pour for $3 and was good wine. We sat outside on this cold rainy night but the heaters kept us warm. Our food choices were well received, everyone was happy with the quality and quantity of food. This included the artichoke heart appetizer, fried green tomatoes appetizer, free range chicken entree, salmon entree and filet mignon entree. Dessert was the coconut bread pudding and the crème brûlée. All delicious although the bread pudding did not taste of coconut. Service was excellent, Alexa was attentive and efficient without rushing us. It was a very pleasant evening will return.

    My family and I dined there during our vacation in San Diego. Good vibe, a bit loud in the relatively small dining area. Service was attentive and the food was solid if not spectacular. Not inexpensive but not outrageous. Would go there again.
