It was our first time dining here and we were pleasantly surprised. As vegetarians, there are plenty of choices and we thoroughly enjoyed the small plates. We will be back to try some of their sushi and other dishes we were not able to try on the first trip. The pickled okra were delicious. We had Gabriel as our server and he was excellent. We look forward to trying out the Ramen place, too. I was curious that I did not see items with tofu or silken tofu on the menu - are these available at all on the 2F restaurant? Cheers, Ashwin

Overall, terrific experience! We had a reservation and were sat quickly despite a busy dining time and line out the door. Server approached quickly and was polite, friendly and accommodating. She took our order and served us our drinks right away. Shortly afterwards, our salad arrived. We mentioned we were sharing and they proactively split it into 2 bowls which was very much appreciated. The pizza followed not long after. It was fresh, hot and delicious. Since the experience was moving quickly and we had some time before the concert, we ordered the sticky toffee waffle. Definitely order one and thank me later. It was second best to GR sticky toffee pudding.

My friend and I attend regularly before Capitals games. We are creatures of habit & usually order the same things. We love the margherita pizza which typically is topped with some whole basil & last night we requested extra basil. There were no whole basil leaves present on top and the chopped basil was minimal and under the cheese. We didn’t ask our server for a re-do because it was crowded (including a tour bus!) and we wanted to get to the arena. Don’t worry- we’ll be back! But we want alll he basil! Still our favorite place for dinner before the game. And the service is always excellent!

Staff was great, french pasta is handmade and was absolutely delicious on both our plates, Short Rib Lasagna & Pappardelle. Crispy Brussel Sprouts were definitely crispy and delicious with pickled onions. The cocktails were great. We needed a good dinner our first night in town and Opaline delivered. Thank you.
