Best Comfort Food Restaurants in Fontana

Juan was our server and we had a wonderful experience. We came for my birthday and Juan greeted us with happy birthday and let us know I would be receiving a birthday dessert. We decided to enjoy the Monday $59 meal deal for 2 and were happy we did. It is an extremely great value (soup or salad each, 2 entrees, and 2 cocktails each or a bottle of wine). We decided to both order chicken parm for our entrees, salad, and a bottle of wine. Juan offered for us to taste different wine that were apart of the meal deal to help us decide which bottle we would choose. Before our salads arrived, we enjoyed our bottle of wine and were offered 1 glass of each of complimentary champagne. The champagne was a wonderful surprise. I also ordered my usual favorite, the filet and Mac and cheese, to enjoy that evening and take the chicken parm to-go. My steak was put on the woodier grill, but tasted too charred for me. The staff offered to make me another one that was not wood fired right away and I accepted. It tasted much better and was cooked perfectly. The Mac and cheese was very flavorful, like additional seasoning was added and that was great. We lastly ordered the butter cake and it was made perfectly, crispy edge with a soft center. Juan comped the butter cake for my birthday dessert (without asking) instead of offering the chocolate comped birthday dessert. We will definitely be back!

My family and I had a FANTASTIC time at Mimi's Cafe. Great ambiance. Delicious food. And wonderful service. I'm so glad we picked this restaurant.

Family and I made a reservation for Easter Sunday. Some of us ordered from the Easter brunch menu and others from their three course Easter menu and none of it disappointed. Food was fresh, so delicious and timely. Service was wonderful. Will definitely make this our annual Easter tradition.
