So cozy inside and the service was wonderful-Our waiter Louie was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The cauliflower and Brussel sprout appetizer was so delicious we ordered a second! All our meals were great and the desserts were the perfect end to a great meal. Would come again!!!

As always the food, service, and ambiance was excellent. This is the best restaurant within a 20 to 25 mile radius of Sandy Hook. Ps. You can actually have a conversation with the person across the table from you without screaming!

I had such a great experience at Fleming’s! Everything from the atmosphere to the service made my night enjoyable. Our server, Anthony, was extremely kind, professional, and attentive. He was quick with everything while still making sure we felt welcomed and taken care of throughout our dinner. His excellent customer service really stood out and made the experience even better. I would definitely recommend this location and look forward to coming back!

Mercato has been my favorite spot for over a year now, and nothing compares! The ambiance is unmatched, the food is delicious, the drinks are always perfect, and the staff is amazing. There’s an energy here you simply can’t find anywhere else. The vibe, the people, the entire experience 10/10 every single time!

I was nervous about eating here due to some poor reviews. However I am so glad we gave this place a chance! Food tasted great, it came out hot and it was a good portion. Our server Sunny made sure we had a nice anniversary dinner and experience. Prices were a bit steep but its to be expected in this economy. We will be back for sure at some point.

We were looking for a local place that we "trusted" to bring some friends from Michigan who were visiting. We arrived right at Noon on a Friday and were quickly shown a nice table where we could have a "quieter" conversation. Our server was "Cailie" (SP?) and she was friendly, welcoming and open to answering some informal questions from our guests. As Midwesterners, they have a heightened casual interest in people they have just met. I must admit that, as Midwesterners ourselves, we share that trait although it has been somewhat tempered by living here in Connecticut for the last 14 years. Cailie was great, guiding us through the menu and getting us off to a great start. The food was very good; beet salad, a veggie "power bowl" a selection of starters that served as a "shareable" lunch. Truth be told, we did stay a long time and we did not feel pressured at all to move along. Calie checked on us unobtrusively several times; always "there" if we needed her but not goading us in any way. Her approach and the atmosphere itself made for a great visit with our friends. Because we stayed quite a while, we did slip our server an extra $20 simply because we felt that she really deserved it AND we might have kept her from some other lunch customers...although she never hinted at that. Overall, as we've known in the past, great place to bring guests and great for a nice lunch or dinner out. We'll be back again.

This may be a temporary menu, but it was really good. I believe it was a collaboration with Boulud. We had a Caesar salad, the scallops appetizer , and branzino. It was all a big notch above the cuisine of previous visits last year.
