Best Fine Dining Restaurants in Longboat Key

The service, food, and ambience were absolutely great. And I know that paying the price does come with all those, but I am not sure it was worth what is being charged for their food items. Still, overall, it was a great dining experience.

All of our appetizers, meals & desserts were delicious. The nonalcoholic drinks were fabulous as well. Great service too! Looking forward to visiting again.

From the moment we arrived it was great. The wait staff all were friendly and welcoming. Our waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable about everything. Our party of 6 all ordered different meals from the menu. I had the Caribbean lane snapper which was absolutely delicious. We also had the New Bedford U-10 diver scallops, the Peking Duck and Fruits De Mer. The grandsons had the filet and spaghetti. Each meal was a unique experience. For dessert we had the bread pudding, key lime pie and crème brûlée. Again, all were so very good. The restaurant is located on the bay so the scenery is beautiful and relaxing. I would highly recommend this restaurant and would return if in the area again. It was the best food we had while on vacation.

We always enjoy the Capital Grill. Food and service are uniformly excellent. When you order a name brand whisky, be sure to ask the price. I was unpleasantly surprised at what I paid for Johnny Walker Black Label. Not at all competitive with other fine-dining restaurants in the area. This was out anniversary, which all the staff recognized, and we received a card, decorated table, and complimentary dessert.

My wife and I love MOE. This trip was to Savor Sarasota Michael's way. We both started with the octopus, which was sensational. She had the shrimp and grits, I had the short rib. Both were perfect. Dessert was chocolate for her, rum cake for me. Again, wonderful. Overall, the meal was outstanding and a great value. Service, as always, was impeccable. I know this review is filled with superlatives, but they are justly deserved. We had a wonderful evening.
