The food was quite good. Just small misses on some entrees that would have knocked it out of the park (e.g. the chicken pot pie came in a giant bowl with a puff pastry on top that was smaller than the bowl and disproportionate to the pot pie serving). There seems to be a new performative element to the dinner, which we hadn’t experienced in the past few years, we found delightful and funny. Otherwise the lighting, serveware, and atmosphere was what we hoped.

Vermilion is always a treat! Our outstanding server Justin recommended his favorite high quality and thoughtfully prepared dishes and they did not disappoint. We are consistently pleased with the service and staff, innovative and delicious food, and an environment where no one has to scream across the table to be heard. What a gem!

The food was great. We did a set price menu. I don’t know if they have it all the time but we had 4 courses for 49$ and they were terrific. Our waiter was great attentive and had good suggestions. Can’t wait to go back.
