Local Eatery has been and continues to be a well kept secret. Not sure why because it’s far and away one of the best restaurants in the Lakes Region. Everything is prepared and presented with expert care. There is a focus on local ingredients. The menu is always interesting and deviates in a positive way from standard fare. As an example, I ordered a Five Spice Duck Breast and my wife had a Shrimp Gnocchi dish. Both were delicious. Our craft cocktail and mocktail were perfect and our server was friendly and pretty. Five stars! Looking forward to going back.

One of our favorite places in Ogunquit. Happened to be French Bistro Night (Tuesday), so I had a 3-course menu ($45/pp) including celery soup (really wonderful flavor), beef bourguignon (very flavorful with diced carrots, pearl onions, red wine reduction, and sides of mashed potatoes and mixed sliced vegetables. Last course: maple crepe (with whipped cream, maple syrup. My wife opted for the wild mushroom pappardelle, which also was terrific. Never a bad meal here and the service is excellent.

Over all we really enjoyed our meals. The food was cooked perfectly and the flavors and portions were great. And the cocktails were really great. And maybe I'm just getting used to high prices, but the prices for the food served seemed really good, a great value. The only thing I would ding them on is that the service was really slow. It took about 40 minutes from the time we ordered for our entrees to arrive. And the restaurant was only about half full. Also our server forgot some things (like we asked 3 times for slice of orange for our Blue Moon). But he was super friendly and acknowledged the issues and apologized, so we will definitely go back.

We made a reservation and were seated on the window-such a lovely view. Service was excellent-food was well seasoned and portion size was just right. Bring some cash to tip the piano player-it really added to the experience. We will definitely be back.

Charming Resturant inside the inn. Warm inviting tavern where we sat next to a cozy fireplace. Our dinners were delicious and prepared/presented with care. Definitely recommend this spot for a meal.

We had not been to Wolfe's Tavern for a while and we were so happy we decided to stop in. Our meals were fabulous and the bartender, Julie, was lovely! This just might become our Saturday night place!!!
