Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in Nutley

It was a fun experience with a very cute, themed ambiance, but definitely more of a one-and-done type of place. The location itself speaks to the crowd it attracts, and everyone deserves to have a good time—it just wasn’t really my scene. The food options were very limited, and both the food and cocktails were average. Nothing felt memorable enough to justify cocktails costing around $20. You’re mostly paying for the atmosphere and Instagram-worthy photo opportunities. I’d recommend stopping by for one drink, taking some pictures, and then going somewhere else. It wasn’t for me, but the out-of-towners seemed to enjoy it.

Service is always great at Spuntino. We have dined here several times and always been treated warmly. Family friendly but still feels “grown up” for a special occasion. Great wine selection and options to order several “tapas” to share or individual entrees. My only gripe is that they seem to add cream to EVERYTHING. Many dishes are unnecessarily heavy because of this. Overall always a good experience, but if you are expecting authentic Italian you will be getting a different twist.

Great happy hour. Good drinks and bar bites. The staff is so friendly and welcoming.

Good food and nice atmosphere. Only negative was that the dish I ordered came with an item that I had asked to not be included, due to a food sensitivity. Luckily, it was something that I could easily remove with no issue. Everyone enjoyed their meal, and I would like to return to try some other dishes that sounded good from what I read on the menu.
