Best Lunch Restaurants in Plainfield

Met friends from out of state for lunch. Excellent server, Katie, made sure we had everything we needed the entire time. I enjoy the blackened chicken tortilla salad with black beans, corn, romaine lettuce, tomatoes & tortilla strips. It was EXCELLENT! The special was a Korean Fried Chicken sandwich & 2 of our party had that, which they seemed to enjoy. Another had the fish tacos, also a hit. A beautiful day to enjoy Rick's & the beautiful fall scenery it provides.

Our Stone Creek experience was phenomenal. We made a reservation to celebrate my husband's birthday and received top-notch service, not only from our server, but from the entire wait staff - including a birthday card signed by them all. Our meal started with glass of Merlot, a dirty martini, and crispy calamari, followed by scallops with parmesan risotto, Caesar salad, 12 oz. ribeye, garlic mashed potatoes, and honey-cumin carrots, then we finished with blueberry & lemon white chocolate cheesecake and a surprise complimentary carrot cake for his birthday. Everything was absolutely perfect.

We had a large group, and the service was quick and friendly. The food was great! Will definitely return.

The fish and chips came highly recommended and certainly did not disappoint!
