Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Columbia City

Such a cozy PNW vibe. Exactly what I wanted in returning to Seattle for the first time in 8 years. Recommended by a local and they were spot on. Service was excellent and accommodated our somewhat large party with no issues at all. Straight to the shortlist for future Seattle visits. I can’t wait to bring people here.

The service at this restaurant is truly excellent, the food is really good, and the atmosphere is pleasant. My wife and I had a wonderful time there celebrating our anniversary—thank you!

It is consistently the best restaurant in Seattle.

My third time there. You start with light, airy bread, evoo and 18 year aged balsamic vinegar to dip. Salads are dressed with the same vinegar with a mellow flavor and bright apple or cheese. The Veal Marsala sauce is deeply flavored, not too sweet or cloying like cheap marsala wine gives you. It is bread sopping good and the mushrooms are perfectly cooked. The Limoncello Pana cotta is out of this world. Just a delightful atmosphere, and an old Seattle building. There is a courtyard surrounding an outdoor fountain for warmer evenings. Truly a hidden gem.

Our waiter, Carlos, and the Chef were very accommodating with altering a menu item to fit the dietary restrictions of one of my guests. The very was very good, and an excellent selection of fine quality seafood items. Nice decor too, although the table by the patio door let too much air in whenever someone went in or out.
