Everyone was so warm and friendly, and it was lovely that they remembered us. We were given a wonderful table near the open fire, which, on a wet and windy day, made the whole experience feel wonderfully cosy and inviting. The starters were gorgeous, and the seasonal specials were exceptional. There’s so much thought and care put into the menu. Everything is beautifully prepared, using fresh, seasonal ingredients, and served piping hot! And the desserts? Simply sublime. Absolutely delicious and worth saving room for! The Cat Inn isn’t just another country pub. It’s a glorious restaurant tucked inside a charming, historic village inn, combining exceptional food with genuine warmth and hospitality. A real gem, and somewhere we’re always delighted to return to.
