Swordfish, squash, kale salad – all delicious. There was some confusion about the pork rillette — the person who ordered it didn’t realize it was just bread w/a tiny jar of pork jam. (A really strange sort of dish all around.) We all thought the plate of bread that arrived was something for the table, offered by default. So she kept asking the server where her pork was and the server never said “it’s already here on the table.” Much confusion could’ve been avoided by a) customer understanding what rillette is and b) the server giving a better answer when customer thought the order hadn’t arrived.
