Best Restaurants for Business Meals in Salt Spring Island

Had a sudden steak craving over the weekend and finally decided to give Gotham a try. It did not disappoint. The bone-in ribeye (medium) was excellent: rich, buttery, and full of flavour. But the real MVP of the night was the Portobello mushroom fries. The batter is packed with spices and incredibly crispy, yet the mushrooms stay so juicy inside. I'd come back for these alone. The cheese toast was also a standout: fresh out of the oven, perfectly crisp, with just the right amount of cheese so it never felt heavy. Both soups were great. The Manhattan clam chowder was tangy and appetizing, and the soup of the day (a Thai curry) had a gentle kick that warmed me right up on a cold night. For drinks, the Oaxacan Old Fashioned with orange peel was fantastic, a must for whisky lovers. The Strawberry Blonde is sweet and easy to drink if you prefer something lighter. Desserts were a lovely finish. The cheesecake was rich and creamy without being too sweet, and the sticky toffee pudding, served warm with cold vanilla ice cream, was a perfect contrast, just slightly on the sweet side. Service was attentive and friendly. The only small downside was that it felt a bit chilly inside on such a cold day. Overall, a fantastic steakhouse experience and I'll definitely be back!

The food at Hart House is always top rate. Our server, Luka, was the absolute best. He really took care of us and was very personable and helpful!

I like a lot. Food, ambience, drinks all very good. The highlight was the service. From the hostess until servers. Ana was our server. Very good manners, polite, gentle and not intrusive at all. Offered us suggestions and always around available to help us. Nice and pleasant evening.

Every thing was Wonderful , we will be back next month.
