Best Comfort Food Restaurants in Baggot Street Lower

A fabulous pre matinee show lunch. The food, service and ambience were all excellent. We tried the calamari, herring and courgette and feta salad for starters, swordfish, paccheri and pumpkin ravioli for main, all superb. We were enjoying our meal so much we allowed very little time for our desserts. The tiramisu and affogato while eaten hastily (to make it to the show) finished the meal beautifully. We hope to return soon to this wonderful restaurant.

A fabulous Tuesday night treat. Food was amazing as always. We seemed to get forgotten though once mains were cleared. No offer of dessert/tea/coffee. No big deal but it wasn’t particularly busy.

Delicious food and lovely atmospheric room with very good attentive service

This is an absolute gem of a restaurant! On arrival we were warmly welcomed and the level of hospitality was consistent throughout the evening. The food was lovingly prepared and beautifully presented. The menu had a great variety of choice without too much to overwhelm! I had the slow cooked short rib of beef for mains and honestly it was the best beef I have ever eaten! Waiting staff were attentive without fussing, friendly, kind and nothing was too much trouble! It was the perfect end to a perfect visit to Dublin!
