Best Restaurants for Foodies in Freehold

This was our second visit; first was in March 2026. Very coincidentally, we had the same waitstaff member, Alexandria. If our luck holds, we will see get to see her on future visits. She is outstanding: personable, attentive, professional. One could not ask for better service. She's a gem.

I am never disappointed with Lemon...first of all, the owner and chef de cuisine Ash is always near the front to greet his customers... The restaurant is warm and cozy, the table and chairs comfortable, the ambiance is pleasant and the noise level allows patrons to enjoy conversation without having to shout to each other. The service is unbelievable...there are so many servers and runners that you are always be cared for...The food is delivered hot, with the correct utensils for whatever you may have ordered. Once the food has been delivered, there is always someone there a few minutes later to make sure everything is up to expectations. The lamb chops and the duck...beyond delicious ALWAYS...the portions are never skimpy and if you ask for modifications, there is never any problem. For those who have food allergies or aversions, once again, Ash is there to make everything fantastic! The fact that is BYOB for me, is a plus...I can bring whatever I like to enjoy and I don't have to pay the extra, sometimes exorbitant prices that restaurants tend to charge. The desserts come out with lovely decorations on them and the taste matches the beauty of the plate! Do NOT hesitate to enjoy this fantastic restaurant. I have known Ash for well over 20 years now and I wouldn't hesitate to say that he makes dining out a wonderful experience!

Excellent!! Loved the whipped ricotta with truffle. The Sette salad was delicious as well. The salmon dish with crispy brussel sprouts was cooked perfectly. The homemade gnocchi was excellent. Prices were a little high...but worth it.

Excellent food with outstanding flavor and attentive staff. Will definitely be back!!

Welcoming staff upon arrival. Specials were explained. Attentive staff and not overwhelming. Food presentation was very nice. Food was delicious!
