Best Restaurants for Groups in Albany

We had a birthday dinner for a friend at Xica. We had good food and enjoyed the beautiful decor. The wait staff was exceptionally responsive and attentive. We loved the plantain chips and guac, fish tacos and pork rib tacos, especially.

Amazing food amazing staff. The fish, Pad thai and fried chicken were all very diverse and tasty. Good selection of drinks and deserts. The waitresses were especially very kind, accommodating, helpful and went above and beyond to make it a special night for me and my friend

Everest Kitchen was a great find for celebrating my friend’s 89th birthday. Comfortable and charming setting and lovely decor. The food was very good, vegetables very fresh and not overcooked. Sauces delicious and not too spicy. Rice and lentil soup came with our dinner entrees. We arrived early enough to order a few happy hour appetizers and enjoy some Prosecco. The servers were attentive, helpful and all very attractive. Turns out they’re all related. This is a family restaurant and they have good reason to be proud of it. I’m looking forward to returning for their lunchtime Thali special.
