My girlfriend and I had a fantastic dining experience. We started with the oysters and potato scallops. The oysters were incredibly fresh and a real highlight for my girlfriend, while the potato scallops paired perfectly with the delicious curry sauce. We also enjoyed the house martini, which had a wonderfully briny touch and certainly packed a punch. For mains, we shared the bavette with fries and the cod and clams stew, both of which were cooked beautifully and perfectly seasoned. To finish, we enjoyed the Guinness cake and pumpkin pecan parfait, which our server kindly reserved for us. The food was fresh, seasonal, and full of flavour throughout. Combined with the relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere and the warm, attentive service, it made for a memorable evening. We'd highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for exceptional food in a comfortable and welcoming setting.

We visited Westerns Laundry for our 14th year anniversary, and it did not disappoint. The service was 10/10, and we were looked after my the manager (Mathew I believe his name is). He advised us on how many dishes to order as a sharing menu, whilst being considerate about my fiancés shellfish allergy. Every dish was sublime, and wine was recommended to pair with our food. We will definitely be visiting Westerns Laundry again!! Thanks team!! :)

The “Cuban sandwich” on the weekend brunch menu was wonderful, so many interesting tastes. The toasted bread that held the sandwich together was perfect.

A lovely Saturday night with friends at City Place, Wanstead. Doing a new Saturday night Burger menu, alongside their evening menu, great burgers from ginger pig butchers! Mum had that. And when you collect 10 stamps you get a free burger.🍔 My friend said she'd had the best surf and Turf she'd ever had. Me I Love that they also do have a great tasting vegan burger, vegan coleslaw and vegan mayo, feeling spoilt. May sound daft but they have the best onion rings I've ever had in my life, Can't resist them. The live music from Etienne tonight was most enjoyable. Definitely recommend City Place for a lovely Friday or Saturday evening out whatever the occasion. We'll be back again. Thank you City Place
