Best Restaurants with a Fireplace in Lebanon, New Hampshire

We visited 506 Bistro on a Sunday evening in early June. This is located in a hotel just outside about 2 miles outside of downtown Woodstock. The restaurant /bar had a great cozy atmosphere with seating distributed around the space with comfy couches and seating areas placed near the center of the area. The restaurant offered live music starting at 6pm which as a welcome surprise. The food and drinks were both outstanding - with seasonal fare and local ingredients featured. Our server was attentive and gracious, even though he was the only main server that evening. We enjoyed the bruschetta as a started - outstanding fresh ingredients and each of us had mains (mushroom risotto and the Caribbean inspired salmon) - both were delicious. Overall, we would highly recommend 506 Bistro!

It was our first trip to the Dorset Inn and we were very happy with our experience. Our server Lizzy (I believe) was absolutely lovely and professional, she did a great job. The food surpassed our expectations. We had Bread with Grafton Cheddar, the Wedge Salad, Filet Mignon, Turkey Croquettes, and the Brownie Sundae for dessert. All superb. Kurt at the desk who seated us was also very charming & engaging. Overall a really great experience and we look forward to returning!

The server was great, the food was surprisingly good. We were in the pub area which was a little chilly. Overall, a good experience and we’d go back for sure!

Our waiter, Kim, was friendly, energetic and efficient, helping us to enjoy ourselves. The pomegranate margs were great, as was our food.

Perfect first dinner of vacation! Setting the bar high! We enjoyed a delicious meal by the fireplace. Customer service was outstanding and our meals were timed perfectly. And, the maple crème brûlée was perfection. We will be back.
