The Hoffman House restaurant, in the scenic Hudson Valley, opened for business in June of 1977. The building is a fine example of Early American Dutch rubble architecture featuring wide planked random width board floors, a fire place in each of the main rooms and many small multi-level rooms.The Hoffman House is located at the corner of the historic Stockade district in Kingston NY, and once served as fortification and a lookout. Today the Hoffman House serves a continental fare, featuring steaks, fresh seafood, pasta specialties and homemade artisan desserts. An open-air, beautifully landscaped garden patio, enhances outdoor dining in the summer, while you can cozy up next to one of our three large stone fireplaces in the winter.

Dining at The Old Inn on the Green is an extraordinary experience: fine wine, great food, attentive, knowledgeable service and the dining rooms illuminated only by candle light. Chef and Owner Peter Platt, along with his team, work to create innovative and memorable meals that are an event unto themselves. Currently, we are offering a $95 prix fixe menu with 5-6 choices per course every night we are open. The hours for dinner are Wednesday through Sunday 5:30pm to 9:00pm for both indoors and in a new screened outdoor Covered Patio. The wine list is graced with an array of thoughtfully selected estate bottled wines from France, California, Italy and around the world.     Stopped at the bar for a drink and stayed for dinner. The bartender and waitress were charming, attentive and helpful. We had the humas and vegetable appetizer, the bread was warm and fresh and the plate was large enough to share. We then had the Catskill hand pies, they were outstanding. The bar has a large local selection, and the staff bartender was very well versed in the products. Very glad we stayed for dinner!

    I cannot wait to go back! The food was really good and the wait staff was surprising attentive. If you go, plan to walk around near the Hudson river bank - the view is great. You get to enjoy a great meal with wonderful views of the river and boat traffic
