Best Live Music Restaurants in Ilford

We visited The Big Easy on Saturday night as part of my boyfriend’s 55th birthday celebrations, and what a fantastic evening it turned out to be! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was brilliant. The music was just right, creating that lovely, foot-tapping vibe that makes you want to settle in, relax and enjoy the evening. The drinks were absolutely superb, but a very special mention has to go to Klei. What an exceptional talent! Brilliant at what they do, engaging, personable and clearly someone who takes real pride in their craft. Quite simply, one of the best front-of-house team members we’ve encountered in a very long time. A real credit to The Big Easy and someone who genuinely elevated our experience. And then there was the food! My lobster and seafood medley was beautiful, full of flavour and thoroughly enjoyable, while my boyfriend’s brisket was equally impressive. Both dishes were delicious and certainly didn't disappoint. I'll admit, when we first booked, we weren't entirely sure what to expect. But The Big Easy completely won us over. The combination of fantastic food, excellent drinks, great music and genuinely outstanding service made for a really memorable birthday celebration. Sometimes a place just gets everything right, and for us, The Big Easy did exactly that. A huge thank you to Klei and the team for helping make a special occasion even more special. We will absolutely be back!

Amazing ambiance, lovely food, all round great experience!

Dalston Jazz Bar is a fantastic find. The night we went the Jazz Quartet was playing a range of standards and were really professional and high quality. The food was a revelation - 5 course fish menu at a set price and a range of delicious desserts. Each course was a delight, really fresh produce and beautifully prepared and cooked. The service was friendly and professional and the overall ambience was great. For a meal of this quality and quantity £40 pp was fantastic value. Where I live (on the Isle of Skye) a meal like this would cost a minimum of £100pp. I unhesitatingly recommend a visit to this excellent establishment.

I had a lovely experience at DeRoya Lounge. The burger, wings and mac and cheese were all really yummy, and the atmosphere was lovely. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and it was a great place to celebrate a special occasion. I really enjoyed my visit and would definitely recommend it!
