- VVaughnGoldWashington, D.C. Area •60 reviews5.0Dined on 22 Sept 2026This was out first visit to The Lost Fox, and it was very nice. We were looking for someplace new, and I just found it on a Google search. First of all, you enter and there's a reception desk reminding guests that it is for patrons 21 and older. That sets the tone its an adult experience. Upstairs (via elevator or stairs), is a bar area and a small main dining room. Everything is done in dark woods with pictures and paintings framed on the walls. It's hard to describe but they pull it off well. My wife had the smash burger, and I opted for the French Dip. Both were excellent. Although, there were many other choices ranging from crab cake sandwich to filet mignon to dinner salads. The restaurant seemed well staffed. Our server, Ashleigh, was very good. When there was a question about an ingredient on my wife's meal, she checked with the kitchen and then came back to tell her, and give her a choice. The manager apparently made it a point to check our Open Table reservation so he could call me by name at our table. It was a nice touch, and he stopped by a couple of times to check on everything. One note: It is not easy for handicapped people to get in. If you park on the curb like we did, you have to step up and then step down to get to front door. If you or your guest is in a wheelchair, there are cuts in the curb, but they are some distance down the block.More infoThe Lost Fox$$$$• American• Ashburn•4.6

From the moment we arrived, the ambiance was inviting, with a charming decor that set the stage for a wonderful evening. The menu presented a tantalizing array of flavors, each dish prepared with evident care and fresh ingredients. Our selections were beautifully presented and tasted as good as they looked. The service was attentive and friendly, contributing significantly to our overall positive experience. It is a truly wonderful place to enjoy a delicious meal.
