Absolutely amazing experience! The food was delicious, beautifully prepared, and full of flavour, and the ambience was just perfect. We ordered for a birthday meal, and the restaurant truly delivered, making the occasion feel extra special. Everything was spot on, and you could really appreciate the quality and care that went into the food. It was the perfect combination of great food and a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. (Sharing Menu - Amazing)

We visited The Ivy in St Albans on Saturday night for the first time together, after my partner recommended it, and it certainly did not disappoint! We shared two starters, and both were absolutely gorgeous. I then had the fish cakes for my main, which I thoroughly enjoyed. We were both feeling full by dessert, but after spotting someone else’s and deciding it looked too tempting, we shared one, and we were so glad we did! The staff were wonderful, friendly, helpful and really knowledgeable when it came to recommending wines. Our waitress mentioned she had only been there a week, but you would never have known from how knowledgeable and attentive she was. The whole experience was fantastic. The food, service and atmosphere were all lovely, and we were pleasantly surprised by the bill. I expected it to be considerably more, so it was definitely great value for money. Even though we were almost the last people there before closing, we never felt rushed or pressured to leave. That really made the evening feel relaxed and special. We had such a lovely time and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend!

Wonderful landlady greeted our family and showed us our table. Quickly given main menu as an alternative to the set menu we’d booked with, then brought out bread and butter while we decided on food and drinks. A bit slow on taking drink orders for the whole table and then slow again with service between courses, however we were aware of them having short staff and they managed this brilliantly. Having been a last minute Mother's Day booking, we were all very impressed with the atmosphere as despite it being super Sunday and football being on all screens, it was fairly quiet and the main landlady/hostess was so friendly and attentive! The food was absolutely fantastic, everyone cleared their plates and thoroughly enjoyed the meal, plus it was all very reasonably priced. We will definitely be returning!

Another delightful evening at Lussmans . The staff and food were excellent. Great atmosphere. We were entertained by the pianist/singer Kate which was an added bonus to the evening as we were not expecting being entertained with live music, absolutely great. Will be back again soon. Thanks Lussmans
