We choose this restaurant for its intimacy, family style and the carne menu was three quarter veal items which we love. We started with Calmaría Friti and Fungi Salati, mouth watering. For the carne course, Errol had the Vitello Saltmbocca with Prosciutto and I had the Vitello Marsala. We could not have an Italian meal without pasta so we ordered a Spaghetti Carbonara to complement the Vitello. The wine we selected was a Rocca Macle Chianti Classico that paired well with the Veal. The flavors erupted with every mouthful. The restaurant insisted we have the best tasting Tiramisu we have ever had. What truly stood out was the professionalism and positive attitude of the staff and management. I especially appreciated how attentively management listened to our table’s concerns and handled everything with kindness and professionalism. A few items were either not to our liking or brought to our table by mistake, and they graciously removed them from our bill without hesitation. It’s refreshing to see a restaurant that genuinely values customer satisfaction and takes feedback so positively. The staff remained friendly, accommodating, and pleasant throughout our visit. Thank you to the entire Sassafraz team for making us feel valued and ensuring we left with such a positive impression.
