Best Historic Restaurants in Brielle

This was our first experience at Gourmand! It was absolutely amazing! The atmosphere was great, the service was awesome and the food was so delicious!!! We can’t wait to go back!!!

Went with my wife and really enjoyed the eggplant Parmesan, bolognese, pasta, and plenty of time to enjoy dinner together.

Food and service were both excellent. Waitress was friendly, knowledgeable and extremely professional. Crab cakes were delicious.

Absolutely loved everything about this restaurant…from the service to the food, everything was fantastic. It’s a very cozy atmosphere, decorated beautifully. Everything we had was delicious, the crab zucchini blossoms, beef bourguignon, and scallops. The olive oil cake with the peach jam and lavender cream was a hit. Definitely look forward to going back soon.

It’s been a few years since we last dined at Whispers, and after such a delicious dinner, I’m wondering what took us so long to return. We both ordered salads, which were generous enough to share - both were delicious. I had the cod, while Rob ordered the pork chop. Both were excellent. The dining room wasn’t very full, which made it easy to enjoy conversation without having to raise our voices. Our servers were attentive, and the dining room’s old world charm, complete with crisp white tablecloths, made the evening feel special. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and are already looking forward to going back.
