Best Historic Restaurants in Hackney Wick

Treated my family to lunch at the Ivy, recently. All I can say is that the food was amazing, the staff were very professional and friendly, helpful and attentive. I Would recommend to anyone considering lunch/dinner in the city.

We went here to celebrate our wedding anniversary which we told the restaurant through the booking process. They didn't forget and in fact make it very special for us. With even a handwritten card from the team! Even though we were there for the lunch service, it was still a full blown tasting menus with lots of little extras and they did not hurry us, even though the dinner service was starting shortly after we left. The food was great of course, but the service was excellent as well. Very professional but also personable. We particularly enjoyed our chats with the sommelier.

My friend and I were waiting to try Noisy Oyster for so long and this first experience exceeded our expectations! From food to drinks, everything was surprising, fresh and flavorful. Christian made us try the cocktails so we could make a decision because every single drink we’re tempting. I must say the dresses oysters were quite the moment of the diner. Such a creative and delicious way to enjoy them. We will definately be coming back to explore more of the amazing menu!

Lots of great vegan options here. A good few vegan wines too. My dining companion liked his non vegan food too. The staff are friendly and welcoming.

Food and service was fabulous. Highly recommend for both business and pleasure
