- LLarryDallas - Fort Worth •1 review5.0Dined on 24 Oct 2026My wife and I are out-of-towners. I reserved a table for two at Deacon's New South for Saturday October 24, 2026 only to learn this day was the restaurant's last day of operation. Despite the fact that all of the employees were going to be laid-off and Saturday was their last day, everyone was very cheerful and attentive. We felt sad for them. The food was really good. The service was great. The atmosphere was relaxing. We wish the staff and especially our server, Hunter, good luck in the future.More infoDeacon's New South$$$$• American• Downtown / Sobro•4.6
