Best Historic Restaurants in Vista

Never been to this location . It was excellent . Our wait server, Daniella , was terrific. The pasta and meatball were great. My wife had a Filet and you could cut with a butter knife. Shane the Valet ran his legs off to get peoples cars. All good.

Outstanding from the first bite the last! Everything was beautifully creative, and all the flavors worked together in your mouth - all hits, no misses. Service was outstanding and as it should be for a Michelin star restaurant. Arnold’s drink suggestions were perfect and matched the courses and we did everything from mixed cocktails to beer to wine.

Celebrated my wife’s 52nd birthday at Avant and it was a perfect evening. Paul, our server, was attentive and knew the menu thoroughly, and Ann at the host stand was very accommodating. The Maine Diver Scallops, NY Strip, and Prime Angus Tomahawk were all cooked to perfection, and my wife, a retired chef, agreed. The signature cocktails were excellent, and the Wake Me Up Doughnut was the perfect finish. Highly recommend!

We found a hidden gem in our area! We enjoyed our martinis and our home style entrees. We highly recommend the braised short rib and the shephard’s pie. Our server Donovan was very helpful, informative, and friendly.

Always be one of my favorite restaurants. Lovely menu, great food and friendly service!
