Dukes 92 was originally a stable block for the horses delivering foods off barges to the Merchants warehouse opposite. From these humble begininngs the building now houses Manchester's original bar and grill which has been refurbished and extended three times since its opening in 1991 the space today is informal and airy with the buildings heritage being reflected in a subtle blend of antique furniture and modern fixed seating.With its most recent refurbishment Dukes can now properly call itself a venue with two bars, three private events spaces, a grill restaurant, excellent smoking facilities, canalside terrace and balcony overlooking the canal basin. Dukes continued appeal relies on its ability to transform from a relaxed, family friendly environment by day to a vibrant and stylish bar and grill by night.The space has been extended and refurbished since its opening in 1991 and inside its interior combines contemporary features and its trademark antique furniture.

    We had a great time at Bullgogi. The atmosphere was nice and it wasn’t super crowded. We had reserved a table and the staff were friendly. The food was good, I’d recommend 3 plates of meat between two people and we chose the tray of salad leaves/garlic/jalapeño and kimchi to go alongside. This was huge and probably could have fed 4 people but was delicious with the meat. We each had a bowl of rice. My partner had the bulgogi Korean dumplings, which were delicious! We especially enjoyed the bulgogi beef for the bbq and we had the thin belly pork as well, which wasn’t marinaded so needed to be dipped in the accompanying sauces. The bbq was fully explained and had a convenient fan above so it wasn’t smoky at all. All the dishes were ordered from an iPad, which was convenient so you could order more as you went. You ordered the bill from the iPad and the wait staff brought it over. Overall, a really delicious meal was had!

    Lovely welcome - attentive staff and a nice clean bright atmosphere. Now the best thing was the Absolutely incredible food - I had the Vegetarian Breakfast (despite not being a veggie!) it was blooming wonderful - FODMAP friendly (no onion in hashbrowns which was fantastic!) it was so tasty I will 100% be back! We also had the ceaser salad and breakfast bun - everything was excellent
