Best Restaurants that are Worth The Drive in Battle Ground

We always have a terrific time at Yum’s. Miriam’s dough is top-notch, and the pies come out perfectly charred and topped. We love the Jersey Girl and the Smoked Wild Cherry (oh and the Sicilian on Sundays!). The salads and starters are always great. And the desserts are terrific - don’t miss out on a black-and-white or a seasonal ice cream sandwich. We are always taken care of - the staff is warm and helpful. We will return again and again.

What makes Hayward particularly special is how beautifully it captures this time of year. The fall ingredients, seasonal flavors, and thoughtful preparation make the meal feel genuinely connected to the Willamette Valley and everything this region has to offer. There’s a creativity and sense of place here that you don’t find just anywhere. A really special restaurant, and an easy five stars.

Wonderful experience, I highly recommend visiting if you like tea parties. The food was great (much more filling than you think it will be), the service was attentive, and the ambiance was restful and made it easy to talk to my group or enjoy my tea in silence.
