We were surprised that on a Thursday night we were the only ones in the restaurant. That being said the service and the food was excellent

We’ve been to Jules twice several years apart and both times the food and service was exceptional. My wife and I got the avocado toast as an appetizer to start. Sound boring? Look at the attached photo — blackened jumbo shrimp on toasted ciabatta with sriracha mayo. Amazing. For dinner, my wife had crab cakes (2) and I had the scallops almondine. Also amazing. The service was great too. The servers have a deep knowledge of the menu and are attentive without being intrusive. Oh, and did I mention it’s a BYOB? One nit: Jules has too many tables, so it is a tight fit. I elbowed passing diners and servers more than once. But the food is worth that (relatively) minor inconvenience.

We love the food, appreciate that fresh bread is offered to start the meal, and the server was pleasant. The atmosphere was good except that I avoided leaning on the booth seat back because the last time we sat in that booth it was very wobbly. Nonetheless, we recommend Amalfi’s all the time!
