Exciting bar crowd. Had the salad with steak. Asked for medium, but they looked like charcoal briquettes. Had to flag down the server to get another glass of wine. More

Came here with my girls' part of our girls' weekend. They have a 90s hip hop brunch every 1st Sunday of the month and found that to be a bit disappointing as it was just 90s tunes playing with no other themes adding to it (like hiphop themed drinks/food, outfits etc.). If they do ramp that up it would definitely be another star!. Other than that the service was great, albeit our food did take some time to come out, BUT when it did WOW WOW WOW so good! My Good Morning Pizza was so big that I had to take some with me even AFTER I shared with BOTH of my girls (they kindly provided a plastic bag for me to make a portable cooler- to keep it refrigerated until I got to a fridge- with the ice from the ice bucket that held our champagne for our mimosas, which were great too!) . The food I sampled off their plates, the S'mores French Toast and the Chicken and Waffle Sandwich were also heavenly! And the bill was not bad at all for ordering our food plus splitting a table mimosa (which came out to be about 2 mimosas per person for 3 people) - a little less than $30 per person. Overall if you could just be a little patient for the food , it's a great place to come and eat and drink while bopping to some 90s hiphop jams :) More

Review is for the dinner and tasting menu. Wife and I have been to a lot of Eater's top ranked restaurants in the city and decided to venture out to Jamaica Plain to give Brassica a try for a special occasion. We were pleasantly surprised with what we found. The ambiance and waiters etc were great, but cutting to the chase, the food was unbelievable. Every course was extremely well cooked, extremely original, and absolutely packed with flavor. The head chef came over to hand deliver some of the courses, and his excitement and passion for the food was palpable. Have not been this impressed since we ate at Table in Cambridge. I would say the food at Brassica compares favorably, and I appreciate the additional courses. The wine pairing was good, not great, but it's hard to complain for the price. Also worth mentioning that the cocktails here are also excellent and quite unique. More

The Sinatra performance by Rich DiMare was amazing. He has a great voice and an amazing stage presence with the help of the band. Our server Jules was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable about the menu, offered suggestions, and literally bent over backwards to not disturb the show. An enjoyable night for everyone. More
