GAME CREEK RESTAURANT IS CLOSED THROUGH MARCH 23RD. WE HOPE TO REOPEN FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE WINTER SEASON.

Game Creek Restaurant is located at 10,300 feet, at the top of Vail Mountain. Enjoy a gondola ride and cozy snow cat ride or shuttle in the summer to an elegant European chalet, where the ambiance is charming and the memories are long-lasting. Renowned for the fabulous view, Game Creek Restaurant features modern American style cooking with regional and seasonal ingredients. The menu is comprised of contemporary dishes and Game Creek favorites. Game Creek Restaurant offers an award-winning and extensive wine list, and personalized service. More than simply a restaurant high above Vail, Game Creek Restaurant has emerged as a true culinary destination.

Adults dine on our 4 course prix fixe menu, or may opt for our featured Chef's Table menu. We also offer a special 3-course children's menu for 5:30-6pm reservations.

Going to Game Creek is a very unique experience since it it located in the Game Creek Bowl. You have to take the gondola and then a snow cat to get there. Very fun!! However, once you are there you won’t be disappointed. The food is fabulous and service to match, in a very high end Colorado atmosphere. Love it!!!

Outstanding experience! The restaurant and food is first class. The gondola and snow car ride only enhance the experience. Could not recommend any higher, an absolute gem!

Fabulous trip up and down the mountain- great start to a wonderful evening. Service was very good. Beautiful restaurant! Food was perfect - the elk and wild boar entree were exceptional. Pear salad, trout appetizer, lobster bisque, agnolotti, desserts were all wonderful. Would highly recommend. We would love to go again.

Our party of four thoroughly enjoyed the evening from the gondola ride up with the cozy blankets to the CAT ride over to the Game Creek chalet. It was a beautiful sunny evening and still light when we went up. The meal was amazing and all four of us said it was the best food we've ever had and just different enough to always be remembered. Wait staff was great and helpful. CAT driver was so friendly and knowledgeable of the area. It is not a cheap evening but one our whole family will always remember and we will be back. Thank you to all who made it so wonderful. The gondola ride back down the mountain in the evening was spectacular with the moon and stars shining brightly. Loved every minute of it!!!!

Really fun experience to dine on top of the mountain. The food and service were fantastic. Great flavor combinations. Very accommodating for vegetarians as well. The staff was super knowledgeable and very friendly. we loved it and highly recommend the experience!
