Piccadilly is our flagship restaurant, set in a beautiful townhouse just off Regent Street, encompassing the ultimate Gaucho experience in the West End. Impeccable Argentinian steaks, flavours of Latin America and a perfectly curated drinks list are all enjoyed in uncompromised elegance in the former home of a Spanish Ambassador.
This impressive restaurant boasts a variety of unique spaces that soar over three stories. At ground level, you have our warm and welcoming dining room with adjoining weather-proof terrace. As you ascend the original sweeping staircase, you’ll find another dining space with a spectacular open kitchen, where we host our legendary Electro brunch, as well as a myriad of gorgeous private rooms – one inspired by our former Spanish resident.

Really good food and exceptional service. It was my husband's birthday and they treated us really well. Manuel was our waiter and he was really attentive. Was a great place for a pre theatre meal. Wouldn't pay the prices for the non a la carte menu
Great food ribeye steak amazing sticky toffee pudding beautiful, very nice restaurant.
Excellent steaks, good service and a very central location.
Staff very polite and friendly
Food superb, best tasting steak we have ever had
Great service, felt welcome immediately and was tended to in a polite and effective manner.
Thank you to the team for another wonderful meal with a very professional service 😃
Jason top class waiter
First time there and a nice restaurant, unfortunately run by kids !
No where available to sit for a drink before our meal. Food was excellent as I had steak my wife had fish and she commented that it was the worst Code she has had!!
As for the £70+ tip are you joking that is taking the proverbial, always a tip should be earn't and too many restaurants are including this in the bill.
Will not be returning!
Always a great atmosphere and of course steak , it’s why we keep returning
Fantastic special occasion food excellent but quite pricey.
Second time here for my boyfriends birthday, staff were so helpful and brought out the different cuts of meat to explain to us. Wine was reasonably priced and waiter was lovely. Worth the price and lovely ambiance. Bit loud but it was a Saturday night! I recommend xx
A very nice dinner for my daughter’s birthday
My partner and myself have visited Gaucho Piccadilly branch a number of times over the past six years but hadn’t been in a year or so. We visited this past weekend and were disappointed to see some very obvious changes. We loved the complimentary bread basket in the past and were in fact looking forward to this until we saw what arrived - very little bread and not much of a selection. We recalled in previous years having a bread basket, but at the weekend it was four pieces of bread on a plate. A pesto(?) butter arrived with it and the usual salt and pepper. We would have appreciated a decent salted butter served with the bread but this didn’t occur.
I ordered the ribeye which was cooked to perfection and my partner even commented on how delicious it tasted. It was definitely the star of the evening.
I ordered a dessert, we waited about twenty minutes and the dessert still hadn’t turned up. The waiter came over only to realise the dessert hadn’t arrived yet, quickly apologised and rushed off. Within minutes the dessert appeared (sticky toffee pudding) - it was worth the wait. But disappointing I had to wait as long as I did.
All in all, still an enjoyable meal but the service has definitely fallen in comparison to previous years. I think given the amount of money customers will be spending at the restaurant, a decent selection of bread could be provided.
Good food and good service so not much else needs to be said. Would definitely come back.
Fab restaurant. Great service, lovely space and delicious food, even for vegans. The staff are very sweet with children too.
First time dining here. Amazing steak. Friendly staff and welcoming even though we were late. We got our food ultra quick! Prices were very decent and quality top shelf.
Our evening (Friday 17/01/20 at 20:00) at Gaucho Piccadilly was really spoilted by the noise of other guests in the first floor. Two tables of approximately 8 guests each were shouting the whole evening...didn’t respect the rest of the guests. And at the same time other three people came for dinner...they were completely drunk...but they were allowed in for dinner. They started shouting as well. None of the staff took any action to stop them.
I strongly believe that you should not allow such behaviour from your visitors. It was really annoying and spoilted our night in your restaurant.
Great staff great atmosphere. A little pricey but that’s what you expect from a place like this
The meat is not what it used to be. Both the steak and burger we had were quite dry and not particularly tasty. The money-saving mode feels in everything from the meat to the service. It was even cold inside! Our previous visit was not glorious either but we decided to give it a second chance. Will not come back.
Food was good but tired decor and average service makes £180 for two people look very expensive.
Our steaks were good and cooked as ordered. Side dishes, although expensive, were tasty. We skipped a starter as we didn’t think the choice was particularly interesting. We went mid week so the restaurant wasn’t very busy which I thought was preferable and contributed to a good ambience and attentive service.
Thought it was decent. Steaks very good.
A great experience as it was for our son’s 21st birthday, very pleased with the setting and the service and food was amazing.Having experienced this we will definitely be revisiting the restaurant again.
Great quality of meat, however plates were over seasoned. Service was ok but not great. Really good wine.
Always great food and wine and a great ambiance never had a bad experience
Good value set menu and excellent ambience. Most wine prices on the high side and house malbec red not impressive. Salad accompaniment to steak could be more imaginative than just dressed leaves.
We went for the set lunch. We ordered rump well done and asked for steak to be butterflied, chef cooked the thin steaks to medium and the thick steaks to well done? No butterfly on the steak, these things combined meant my steak was really tough and chewy, burnt on the outside and still medium on the inside. Very disappointed. Didn’t have time to complain as we were on strict timetable for the theatre.
Exceptional food and great service - the team always remember us and welcome us back
The service was not good and the food moderate. The environment is good.
Good food reasonably priced.
Service a little non personable.
For the people in our team who have never been to Gaucho it was an excellent evening :)
Steaks are just sublime. And the chimichurri topping for steak is delicious.
The Waite staff are very helpful and polite! The door man at the front a complete gentlemen. However those working at the desk were rude and arrogant. They look right past me on serval occasions and served others before me. Blunt and monotone voice like they didn’t care to be there. And basically had to shout for attention which isn’t ok
also what’s the point of putting down “birthday as a special occasion” if they don’t attempt to do anything about. It was Pau the bill and leave :/
Did not have a good experience, so will not be coming back. The food was very unimpressive (especially considering the price) - we were recommended the Churrasco steaks and all of them came overdone and dry. Even the potato chips were very very overcooked, very disappointing for a restaurant of this level.
First time visit to Gaucho. Had a lovely time. Food and service was spot on.😁
Amazing meat!!! But the rest was not too impressive.. the waiter was nice, but everything seems a bit stressed and had to go in a way to quick pace..
The ladies in the reception needs to learn a trick or five about good customer service.. they are the first thing you meet and therefor becomes the “faces” of the restaurant and you need to feel welcomed and wanted as a customer, which I’m not sure I felt..
We were asked to move tables during our meal so they could accommodate a large party of 10 people. We were not happy about moving tables but felt under pressure- we had already started our appetisers and drinks, and asked nicely if we could keep our existing table as didn’t want the upheaval. The staff dragged chairs and tables from around us to make one long table beside us for the large party. The whole experience was unpleasant, awkward, noisy and chaotic. The food was cold when it came, and the chips were stale and cold. We were quickly hurried on to ordering deserts. The waiter got the deserts mixed up and The cheeseboard was very disappointing. Overal a very disappointing 50th birthday celebratory meal. Left feeling quite upset. Not quite the atmosphere or service I expected and food wasn’t great for the price!
The food was amazing And the staff are very friendly
The starter of scallop was a bit tasteless and steak not especially tender. Steak knives would be good
