Did you know that the night Abraham Lincoln was unalived, they also tried to unalive two more people? I didn’t know that until very recently on the 161st anniversary of his death. I attended a whiskey tasting at the @hrcwashingtondc , which is located next-door to the Ford Theatre, where it all went down. This was such a unique event and that’s one of the amazing things about DC, so I struggle when people say that they are bored. I had a great night with @bellathagawd @ebony_hd @whynotkristin ! I had expected more from this place. We had a reservation for three and showed up 10 minutes early and we’re seated literally next to the stairs to the bathroom on the main floor where people were always passing by and bumping into my chair. The food was expensive, the drinks even more expensive and I can say that leaving with a $220 bill was not worth the money for burgers. The server was nice but quite busy and overall we would not come back here again. The setup seem to be mostly made for large tour groups to come and take the private room, rooms and spaces, not for the average customer wanting dinner before a show.

Much too loud because we were placed near the bar even though there were plenty of tables elsewhere. We asked to be moved and we were told there were no other tables, yet I saw at least 15 vacant tables.

The server got our orders incorrect and was not very responsive. We ordered the chocolate hot fudge sundae for dessert - brownie was stale and very little hot fudge sundae It’s been a long time since I have eaten at any Hard Rock - I suggested to my sister to do this to do “something different” - we won’t do that again

We had a group of 16...booked months in advance. 1 waitress. Long wait to get order in, to get drinks, to get food. No way the restaurant should have had only 1 waitress...as she also had the entire section including some other tables. Many in our group said the food was warm, not hot. It had been sitting for a while. I had to ask the waitress when we would get our food and she said, "I'll go get it". That must have meant she knew it was ready, but she was busy with other tables. No one had time to even order a 2nd drink. Used almost every minute of the 2-hour space we had planned on to catch show at Ford's Theatre. I won't be back. I promise.

First off the hostess was fabulous. The waiter rushed us from the time he took his art order until the time we left. He brought us the check and I wasn’t ready to pay because I was still eating my meal and he kept checking to see if my debit card was in the book with the check he did that quite a few times. Then I was charged a nonalcoholic tax of eight dollars because I didn’t drink alcohol. I guess you have to be a drunk to eat at Hard Rock Cafe
