My wife and I had a fantastic brunch seated on the rail at this iconic beach front location. The Avocado Toast with Applewood bacon was excellent ! My wife lived her bacon, eggs and fresh fruit...as well as the POG mimosa. Bloody Mary's were quite good too...as was the Rumchata chilled desert drink. Our server, Luis, was outstanding...a definite visit at least once or twice on any future trips to Waikiki Beach!

I was disappointed with Hula grill. While the view of the beach and Diamond head are great, it was loud, our waiter was hard to find, most of the wait staff were not in a good mood, and the food was disappointing (e.g., the Korean Fried Chicken was sweet and not at all spicy). There are definitely better options.

We went for lunch for my husband’s birthday. Our server, Lea, was exceptional. She was knowledgeable, courteous and very responsive. The manager on duty, Luke,, also came by our table to ask how everything was going and to wish my husband Happy Birthday - that was a lovely touch. We were able to get a table on the rail which I had requested. The total experience was fun and memorable. We will absolutely come back soon!

The coconut seafood chowder tasted weird. The wontons had a tad too much cream cheese. The calamari steak was awful. The mushroom ravioli was okay. Kind of tourist trappy. I prob wouldnt go back. Overrated.

This was my second time coming here on vacation for dinner and I was excited to try their honey mac nut shrimp and their Mac and cheese but this time around the food lacked flavor/seasoning, the shrimp was okay not as amazing as I remember it but the Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes had no flavor whatsoever. My sister and I ate some of the food, paid and left. Overall the food was disappointing to say the least but service was good and oceanfront seating was nice.

Great space. View of Waikiki. Just above Duke’s, a sister in the restaurant chain. Food and drink was good. Waiter was fantastic. Menu with many options. Music from Duke’s infiltrates the space, but it was a welcome addition.

Based on photos we expected to be able to see the ocean. We weren’t really able to! All good, but maybe we should have changed our expectations. The food was subpar for the price. It would have been decent if we had just walked in unknowing what to expect. But we dressed up and overall the feel was pretty casual. Maybe that’s our fault! But I’d most likely recommend a different spot to friends! They gave us free ice cream cake, which was very kind of them!

Our waiter was fantastic and the food was very good. I really enjoyed the mahi mahi (mac nut crusted topped w/ crab). I do think the front of the house staff could be better. There were a lot of them there and seemed to be distracted with each other. Also unfortunately, they sat us in a booth when we have a 2 year old which made it very difficult to enjoy our meal. The place was packed and our children were super hungry so we just dealt with it instead of waiting for another table. If any managers are reading this, please sit families with young children at tables with high chairs. Half the battle for meals is getting them to stay still and a high chair helps strap them in! TIP: They sell the chili vinegar by the bottle. It's soooo good that we had to buy a few to take home with us.

My husband and I had a wonderful first dinner to kick off our honeymoon. Our waitress went above and beyond, and our food came out so fast. We even received a complimentary dessert since it was our honeymoon. We don’t give 5 stars often, but this place blew it out of the park. Highly recommend!

We highly recommend Hula Grill. Everything about the evening was terrific. Jerry, our server was outstanding. Very knowledgeable about food and just the right amount of attention to service. Both mine and my husband's meals were exquisite. We had a fantastic view and they were able to accommodate my dietary needs. A wonderful atmosphere and a wonderful view. The most impressive component of a dinner at the Hula Grill with the service and the attentiveness of this of the staff. The drinks were well crafted and good values. We particularly enjoyed the macadamia nut encrusted ahi.
