We had a lovely meal on Xmas eve. Staff were really nice and attentive. They gave us a Christmas card and a voucher when we were leaving. They offered us a free drink at the end which was a lovely touch. Defo be back
Amazing staff & delicious food! Would definitely recommend!
Staff were more than polite. Food was served promptly and was delicious, as was the wine. Will definitely be back.
Lovely meal and friendly staff. Only suggestion would be a hot plate to keep food warm as we took a while over the meal and by end food was a little cold. But otherwise delicious and would recommend
Food was excellent and tasted very fresh big portions and in an excellent location on Dame Street.
All waiters were wearing masks our table was sanitised before we sat down and we had to sanitise our hands before we entered. Very Covid safe
Service was great, food was great. Would highly recommend.
Once again delicious food and great service from Kathmandu kitchen. Thank you.
I took my partner to the restaurant as she had nevered tried nepalese food before and neither of us left disappointed, it was very good food and we cannot wait to go back again
Really enjoyed our dinner here on Saturday, lovely atmosphere, excellent service from Salini, she took time to explain and recommend dishes to us, she was very helpful and friendly.
3 of us got different dishes to share.... Seafood sizzler, Shashlik chicken, Saag Paneer, Peshwari naan... all delicious. We shared the MoMo dumplings to start and while they were tasty they weren't amazing, that's the only reason I gave 4 stars. Everything else was excellent, good wine list too.
Not great. Couldn’t differentiate dishes from each except for the colour of the sauce. Very expensive - we knew Dublin would be pricey but didn’t expect to pay almost €100 for a curry. It’s certainly not Cinnamon Club!
Busy Saturday night . We had booked so were seated quickly. Unfortunately adjacent to people queueing to get in with door being kept open constantly. We got moved without issue. Poppadoms arrived but were stale ...these were exchanged for fresh ...again no problem. Had a tandoori king prawn starter ...it had 3 prawns ..thought €15 a bit steep for this. Nepalese main dish was nothing special. Excellent service throughout but food needs to improve.
Fantastic service on a busy stormy evening. After a long day out and about we arrived to Kathmandu Kitchen. There were 8 of us and we were cold, wet, and hungry. We were greeted by queues at the door- always a good sign- and a bustling lively reataurant. We were seated right away and served almost immediately. The courses arrived at timely intervals and there was always waiting staff available to help with any demand.
The food was delicious, very good value, and served professionally and quickly.
I will definitely visit again.
Nommmmmmmm
One of the nicest Indians in Dublin.. food was second to none.. staff were friendly but found once we had finished eating we were forgotten about weren’t asked if we wanted another drink an took 20 minutes to get the bill but besides that quality of food was 10/10..
We had a lovely evening, the food is yummy and we had a lovely bottle of wine. My only small complaint is that we had to flag staff down a few times but to be fair it was very busy.
The staff were very friendly. Very warm and welcoming atmosphere within the restaurant. The food was delicious. We got the early bird option and were full by the time we had finished the food. The restaurant offered complimentary papadums with dips as starters and complimentary Bailey's at the end of the meal which is hard to come by in Dublin. I will definitely be back again
Captain say's it was an excellent Indian meal
Amazing service , very quick. Food was so yummy we thought we ordered too much when it first came but we ate every bit and the wine is delicious and comes in a big serving in a big glass. Very busy restaurant but plenty of staff to take care of everyone
Spicy vindaloo
Very good service and food
Went with friends in pre-Christmas season and to be honest we expected delays (read some reviews on table not being booked etc). But in reality our whole experience was amazing, from the food to the drinks and service. Top notch!
A really busy Saturday night but the staff did a great job keeping the food and drink flowing, this is not a quiet restaurant but that is exactly what we were looking for.
The prices on the menu were all 2-3 euros more expensive than the prices quoted on their website. When we queried this we were told that the menu in the restaurant was a new menu. We complained that there should be something on the website to reflect that these are not current prices. In the end, we were offered a small discount on our meals. We accepted this. After our meal we were offered a liqueur on the house. The service was excellent. The price issue is misleading however and needs to be addressed.
Great food, great service. Good atmosphere and value. Will definitely be back.
Really nice place very friendly very clean food is amazing and our little shot of baileys to finish of the noght was lovely ❤️
Had an 8PM rez but of course the place was packed and no tables available....Ended up getting seated in basement which was very hot and cramped.....That's all of the negatives!! Besides that the food was AMAZING!!!!!! One of the best meals we had in Dublin!!! Highly recommend!!
Lovely food and we had great service, very noisy for a Saturday night but good fun
No booking was recorded on their system when we arrived. Not good at 7pm on Saturday for group of 10.
Best meal i had out in a while so good
Very good vegetarian food.
They use paper straws! Way to go!
Table covering made out of cotton/linen would be nicer than paper.
I would dine there again. Nice restaurant :D Thank you for the good service.
Very tasty food and friendly staff. By booking in advance we got a nice table at the window. Service was good but also relaxing as not being rushed. Overall good experience
Absolutely spectacular food. The Mo-mos were delicious, and the cuisine was wonderful. I had a simple chicken korma, which was done superlatively well, and my compatriots also enjoyed their nepalese curries. Quiet (for temple bar) and good service.
Food is wonderful! It is pretty small so can become cramped. The service is very slow and waiters are not very attentive. They need a manager on site to direct the flow.
Service was excellent but the food was terrible. For starter, samosa tasted bland and dry, then the lamb chop came out undercooked. The waiter was nice enough to take it back and replaced it with Keema naan and Daal. Unfortunately the keema naan was dry and the daal lacked flavor, even the mango lassi was mediocre. The staffs were polite and apologetic however it was not their fault. The chef needs to up his game.
As always another great meal in Kathmandu Kitchen. I love the food here and friendly service. It was spoiled slightly by a very noisy table beside us making it hard to converse at times.
Very good dinner. Momo’s were fantastic. Lamb dishes also quite good. Spicing is a little mild compared to other Nepalese places we’ve eaten but still flavorful. Tables are quite close together.
Delicious naan with the Himalayan curry made for a very memorable meal. Also had the mo-mo appetizer which was very good. Excellent quality food and service. Highly recommend this restaurant.
We had a really lovely meal, taking the opportunity to expand from the traditional India meals to try the restaurants Nepalese dishes and we could not have been more happy with our choices. The food was fresh and tasty and just the right portion sizes! We will be back to try more
Great restaurant, they got a bit busy and forgot about us for a while, but once we made note of it they immediately re-engaged and corrected politely.
