Kyma - Atlanta
Kyma is a contemporary Greek seafood tavern like no other. The cuisine is inventive yet approachable that is true to its Mediterranean origin. Kyma is dramatic, with a dazzling display of constellations on the deep blue ceiling, white marble columns and a bold fresh fish display. The welcoming patio, with its plush furniture and white linen curtains, offers the ideal setting to savor a glass of Greek wine and Kyma’s array of appetizers. Fresh, healthful food, attentive Greek hospitality and festive atmosphere await at Kyma. Proper dress is required. “A true labor of love. Bravo.” -The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Wow. Impeccable service. Great food. Wish we’d had more folks so we could taste more dishes.
Wanted to move to inside seating because of weather at first we were told that wasn’t possible bc they were totally booked. We pushed back and got seated inside which we appreciated BUT the restaurant never filled it was actually quite vacant fir a Saturday evening. The dinner arrived COLD to three of the 6 guests. They quickly took the dinners back to rectify took forever the rest of us were finished eating the the meals were still like ware. Normally I love this place but last night was not the best experience.
Kyma was absolutely splendid. We had a tasting menu coursing with Andrew who was wonderful and so personable.
The ambiance was unmatched and even with a large group nearby, it was still enjoyable.
I only ask for pacing for food to be a little slower especially for a smaller two top.
The evening was wonderful. They understand customer service !!! Great Food!
Unfortunately not what it used to be.
The evening was fantastic. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. The server gave very practical advice on dishes. The food was superb.
Great ! Food was great - service was great - whole experience was top notch !
great food, cocktails and service. A speacial occassion place for sure.
Elegant, comfortable, and delicious are the best descriptors of the Kyma dining experience. A long-time Atlanta favorite.
Our favorite restaurant for a special night out. Fatima is welcoming and wonderful while Andrew delivers five star service. Chef Pano's dishes come from the kitchen hot and delicious. Bobby Flay never had a chance!
After a rough start—we sat at out table for 10 minutes and finally asked for water and a server—things proceeded as expected. Our appetizer was brought from the kitchen promptly, we were checked on, water glasses refilled without asking, and our entrees arrived shortly thereafter. The food was delicious and our server, Kenneth, did an amazing job considering he was only one of two waiters working that night.
Delicious! Early dinner on the patio. Lovely fall evening. Our server was personable and gave us plenty of space to talk and catch up while seamlessly doing his job and keeping things moving. Enjoyed and highly recommend the beet salad, stuffed grape leaves, lamb pie, and lamb shank.
Absolutely marvelous fabulous service delicious food
it was a wonderful setting, outside on the covered patio. Our server Jason was outstanding and the food was superb.
We had a wonderful meal at Kyma. We had three wonderful appetizers and shared a perfectly prepared whole fish as our entree. Our waitress was pleasant, knowledgeable, and helpful in making our selections of wine and entrees. It was a quiet, peaceful atmosphere where we did not feel rushed, but were not ignored at all. We will be back.
Our waiter, Max, was attentive and courteously answered our questions. This was my friend's first visit and she ordered cod, I believe, and I ordered salmon. Both dishes were enviably delicious and we shared with one another. We also had the lobster appetizer which was great! What an unusual inclusion on your menu.
We certainly will be putting Kyma on our calendars for more great evenings.
Server helped us with our choices of small plates. He explained that they liked to pace the food so that we could enjoy our relaxed, extended dining. And then they brought the dishes out rapidly so they crowded our table and rushed the experience. That was disappointing since the outside patio is so beautiful and calming.
Ask for Jacob! By far one of the best!
The halibut was outstanding and Daniel was a very pleasant server.
Are go to restaurant for great fish.
The dishes were spectacular. Our server was extremely attentive and knowledgeable. Kyma is one of the very best restaurants we have visited in Buckhead.
Great place to relax and have a nice dinner
Always top flight service. Always fabulous food. You can't miss with Kyma.
The food was fabulous (as always!) love the outdoor seating option!
The Best Fine Dining Greek restaurant in the U.S.A and potentially Greece.. Chef Pano plates a masterpiece.
Service was unorganized and olives were old for my martini and had to reorder drinks ……nothing like it has been known for. Not sure I will go back
Outstanding meal, great service,
and so enjoy the outside Patio
Fish was wonderful. Not a big fan of the tomato salad, but the beet salad was good. Eggplant dip was good, but more pita then dip. Small portion. Very nice, sweet and attentive young waiter.
Fabulous dinner with a bottle of wine! Grilled octopus was terrific and entrees were amazing! Fun evening!
We had a lovely birthday dinner here. The Arctic char was cooked and seasoned perfectly and the service was good. We will be returning for another meal here.
Our waiter Max had great recommendations, and it really led us to enjoy The foof
Amazing food! Great outdoor atmosphere. We will definitely come back
It was great! Food was delicious and at a decent price. The wine selection was really good.
I arrived on time for 7pm outdoor seating. Outdoor was open with only one couple seated but we had to wait for our table to be made ready. We sat at the bar waiting while a rude bar staff kept reminding us that two seats at the bar were reserved. Once seated outdoors the cushions were wet from the rain, I asked for another seat, the hostess attempted to flip the cushions over and they were still wet. I went to the hostess stand to ask to be moved inside but there was no one there so I asked miss rude barstaff and she told me to tell the hostess I POINTED THAT IT WAS EMPTY! By 7:30 we were lingering around the bar watching people get seated and the “reserved” spot still empty (don’t they only have a 10min wait). The manager shows up and is apologetic but has no resolution. By 8p we were finally seated our waitstaff Andrew was awesome with recommendations and service and the manager comped our drinks for the inconvenience.
The food portions were pretty small compared to the other restaurants in Buckhead Life group The lamb pasta was excellent and almost made up for the tiny Greek salad and small spinach pie. It was Ok but I think my neighborhood Greek restaurant may be better.
Waitress was very good but food runners were not. Food, especially appetizers, was placed on table haphazardly, not in front of the person who ordered the dish. Lighting was too dim and music too loud.
Kyma is by far our favorite of the Buckhead Life group. Our waiter Max was professional, Helpful, and efficient. Food never disappoints. Their tomato salad is best in town.
not KYMA as before. food was not so great as use to be. and not enough waiters
Kyma remains unique and true to creating and delivering tasteful Greek dishes. Some menu items have changed in presentation and portion but flavor remains good. The bar is excellent as is the spacious dining room. Even when Kyma is fully seated it feels comfortable and inviting.
Wonderful experience as expected!! We are never disappointed. Had a lovely chat with Pano too!!
