St Elmo remains the only classic steakhouse in Indiana. For 17 years we got the same waiter every time we ate there, until he retired. Each steak comes with a choice of the exotic, bean soup or tomato juice. The 1920's vibe is for real here. But retro vibe aside, this is really the best steak in Indy. Tge sides are always good. They and the steaks leave enough for lunch the next day. The service is friendly and attentive without being bothering. We will ask for Paige again. The only post Huse takeover thing I miss was the vast wine selection. But if you have the money, there are fine things on the current list.

Beautiful place! Would definitely come again. Food was delicious and made locally. No menus- just what’s fresh and available!

Everything was good except seating requested standard sitting no high top chairs a member of r party has back issues . We were actually put at high top table our guest was very uncomfortable and wouldn't let me ask to change seating.

The Valentine's day event was really neat. My wife and I really enjoyed it.

We have done this as a tradition for years. We LOVE it! Only complaint.....is that it is for "couples" some little kids kicked my wife's seat the ENTIRE........dinner and were loud. It's not Chucky Chrese. My wife has health issues. Other than that it's a beautiful time.
